Just throwing it out there, NS++ is no longer supported on Safari. With the newest update, Safari no longer supports "unsafe extensions" and want you to only use approved extensions through their app store.

For the same reason as Safari, the Firefox add-on also doesn't work now ( I even tried changing a couple of things in about:config).

Yep, Mozilla apparently thinks its users are so incompetent that even a deeply-hidden override switch is too dangerous. Thus why they removed it, a long time ago now. You want to use extensions without Mozilla's hand-holding, you'll have to use a different browser. A fork of Firefox like Waterfox would work.

The back-end which powers NS++ is temporarily down. It should be back up within a couple hours.

The backend is back up, though service is a bit degraded as it has been for the last few years.

The good news is, the experimental ZAPI was a step toward bringing more NS++ features into NS itself.

I'm not sure if this would ever be feasible, but it would be amazing to see regional newspapers added to NationStates without having NS++.

Sorry if this is a grave-dig, but why is the antiquity theme unsupported by NS++? I tried downloading NS++ just a matter of minutes ago to see if I liked it, but I can't stand the new Rift theme.

I don't know the exact specifics of either themes or NS++, but I do know that Antiquity is designed to be backwards compatible with really old browser technologies. As such, improvements from the past 15+ years have been omitted. I suspect NS++ uses some of those improvements. Most web-based apps do, because they prefer functionality over plain text.

i cant log into my pups. i really want to raid but whenever press login it just goes into the screen for a sec and doesn't switch nations or anything. Also all my pups have the ex nation sign on them which may have to do with it even tough i just made them. now that i think of it i never set a animal,flag or currency but when i make them it just asks for name and password doesn't let me select any of that. Do nationstates++ pups even work or?

Not sure if this is correct thread (this thread is given as developer support thread by google chrome web store) and I am not sure if NS++ still supported. However

NS++ icon “world assembly” – Endorsements ( nor any other new link on that page) does not work.
Reason is this code:

Deeper analysis and fix
There is no .rlink on .menu. However .menu contains link to region. It is just not .rlink class.
Correct way to get region ON THIS particular PAGE would be this code (yes I tested)
var region = $("#panelregionbar a").attr("href").substring(7);


Since one can run in debuger console folowing code and it works. I believe this is only change required for the icon “world assembly” to work.

On Dissenter Browser, NS++ Settings appears to go to the page but it just shows the "Loading.." on top but never goes to the actual page. Dissenter is based on Brave, which is based on Chromium.

I am also having issues on Firefox (68.0.2 x64); it says the extension is corrupt when attempting to install. This is on Ubuntu 18.04.3.

I had that problem in Chrome, but it disappeared when I logged into a nation. Settings doesn't seem to load unless there's an active game session to tie into.
