I am off one issue today.

I had less than 5 issues, I had 2 issues from 6 am and 12 pm and I have my game set to get issues at 12 am, 6 am, 12 pm and 6 pm, today's 6 pm issue didn't arrive. Odd it was working fine this morning. How can I fix this? Get 5 issues again, sacrifice number 6 and answer or dismiss at a time I want?

I have no idea. You could wait for [violet] to take a look at this thread, but that's always a guess as to whether or when. Luna Amore is our resident Issue Specialist mod, and he may have a suggestion.

Do check your settings and make sure Vacation mode is off. It's worth turning it on, saving, turning it off, saving again to be sure.

Something happened in between scheduling the next issue for delivery and it actually arriving that changed the timer, so that when it was time to deliver the issue, it decided you weren't eligible for it any more. I can't tell what this was (I've added more logging now), but it could be something like changing one of your settings like the Issue throttle or answering an issue in the 10 minutes before your scheduled time.

How can I fix this?

You don't need to do anything; your next issue is schedule to arrive in 4 hours.

It happened to two of my nations that update near the same time (less than an hour ago, as of this post), but not to another nation that updates at a different time.

EDIT: To clarify: These two nations were in a state where the last issue was reported (by the notices page) to have been 6 hours ago, while the next issue was predicted (by the issues page) to be in 5 hours. Accounting for the fact that the game rounds down, this implies a between-issue gap of 12 hours even though I had no throttle, as though the issue timer were continuing on schedule but had skipped one issue. However, this predicted next issue never actually arrived, at which point the schedule was thrown off (see next post).

Update: since my last post, all my nations failed to generate an issue on the normal timer (making for a total of three missed issues in a row for two of those nations), but as soon as I clicked to the issues page, an issue immediately appeared (only the issues page did this, not just logging in), and the timer was reset (i.e., next issue scheduled for 6 hours from when I clicked the page, rather than 6 hours from when the last issue was supposed to appear).

I hope this isn't going to become the norm.

Be thankful you're not me. At 23:40 BST on Tuesday, I got Issue #056 ""Give Us Money!" Quoth The Poet". I got nothing until right now (i.e. 17:13 BST on Wednesday), when I was in receipt of Issue #110 "Too Low On Laws, Say Civilians". That's a massive seventeen-and-a-half hour gap between issues, and my issues "inbox" was empty in that period of time.

I should have received a new issue for all three of my nations about an hour ago, nothing arrived and they show as arriving in 8 hours and 45 minutes or so.

I've had to click the issues button to receive any. It's only affecting this nation. It's annoying because I pursue NS stats obsessively, so I'd like the normal amount of issues.

Once again, I can confirm this as well. Issues are not being assigned until going to the issues page and it sets the counter to 6 hours upon assignment. Admin attention is very much needed.

Another error is it's not showing that my next issue has come, (it says I have 0 issues when I actually have one) I actually have to click the page and check

I can confirm that this is occurring to me as well, on this nation as well as all of my puppets that are set to receive issues. The new issue for each 6-hour cycle only pops up when I open the page with active issues, and the timer begins then as well.

I've got some more info. Not sure if it will help, but it won't do any harm. If you answer an issue before you look at your issue page, you won't receive a new issue, and the timer will be reset to 6 hours.
