Inoffesive Centrist Democracy?

Postby RPG070012 » Sat Mar 05, 2011 9:28 pm

I have never complained about this game at all until now. My objection now is that the term Inoffensive Centrist Democracy has no meaning or predictive value.

I will contrast two nations labeled as Inoffensive Centrist Democracy mine, RPG070012
http://www.nationstates.net/nation=rpg070012, and my fellow United States nation, Luxiai http://www.nationstates.net/nation=luxiai.

My nation's stats are quite clear: 80% of my people die of old age; I spend most of the 74% tax rate on things like social welfare, education, welfare, and the enviroment; 89% percent of my economy is public sector, and my three trends bounce from high to upper moderate.

In contrast Luxiai stats are as follow: Most of his people die from Cancer, heart disease, and work; the 24% tax rate is spent on 52% Defense and 19% law and order; 87% of the economy is private sector; and finally Luxiai has an extremely high economy while having a moderate amount of civil rights and political freedoms.

These two nations are different in composition but share the same title. I use Luxiai as an example only because of sharing the United States as a region. What can be done to change this general label of Inoffensive Centrist Democracy ?

It's the general label because it's the mid-ground of everything. Your freedom levels are moderate range in everything, that is the only thing that determines the category.

Yes, it can be quite insensitive. It's more a question of what people are allowed to do in your country (as above), than the nature of the government.

And yes, if we had man-months to overhaul the system, I might support it.

If I ask a question on a proposed issue thread, then it's because I feel it's one you need to ask of your issue: I'm being Socratic and/or lazy.
