This is a typo, right?

"I cannot understand for the life of me why anyone could possibly be against this," complains Jacob Kantelberg, showing up at your office wearing a pink feather boa. "Bart and I are good and caring people and will make excellent fathers, so what's the problem? All of the scientific studies have shown that there's no difference in the wellbeing of children raised by gay and straight couples. All that's holding these little darlings back from the happy family life that they deserve is the outdated prejudices of some prudes. All we want is to adopt a child to call our own. It'll be fabulous!"

From the 'two mommies too many?' one. Obviously this is a typo, because no one would write a gay activist in a pink boa saying fabulous and not think 'hm this is a stereotype I should avoid'. I mean, the other option is that the slack jawed ape who wrote this has some issues he needs to work out, and some one in charge thought it was hiiiilarious!

It's part of the fun, it's not a typo, stereotypical or not.
I’m mostly here for... something to do, I suppose.

The issues are loaded with stereotypes. They shouldn't be taken that seriously.

Oh stereotypes are for fun! Ok cool, I eagerly await approval of my issue "Blacks too uppity", with of course a voice of reason from Rastus P Franklin, who takes the stance of 'ooooh lawdy I just wanna rape dem white women and eat mah fried chiken in peaces, massa!'

Oh so that stereotype isn't hilarious? I'm sorry I'll flounce on over to my pink sparkle typewriter and put on my good writing boa for another idea. Maybe Mr Chong got into the third car wreck of the week?

There's a difference between gently poking fun at a stereotype, and being deliberately offensive.

There was nothing 'gentle' about that homophobic drek someone in charge of things approved, it was just one giant "HEH, QUEERS, RIGHT DUDE? QUEERS!"

No, your post was quite racist. The issue was stupid, and funny. Your post would offend a wide variety of people, unlike the issue. It's the same argument with flags, hammer-and-sickle-Stalin's-mass-murders-it-means-death, it actually means Communism to most.

Soviet emblem and Issue- Offensive to very few.
Swastika and Your Post- Offensive to many.

I don't have time to search for the leader, capital, and religion issues; could someone please give me a link to its exact location?

... but apparently you do have time to post, and wait (!) for an answer to be provided to you.

Took a whopping 5 seconds to find this: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=88#241
All three are in a row.

whew, that first post(s) crashed my browser like 40 times, after over a week im finally able to post here. dont you guys have hide tags for bbcode? theyre usually even able to be nested. would really help for us mobile browser users, especially people like me who have no other available option for internet access.

anyways what ive been looking for since i started is a simple table to show me the numerical/statistical effects of choosing any option on every issue. im really not concerned with the content of my issues so much as how it affects me, and its been really hard to move my stats to the way i want them at the same time. since its not immediately obvious how every issue will change my stats, trying to guess which option choice will give me the boost/cut i want has only served to make my nation completely different from the end goal i have in mind.

so... yeah, a quick-reference table sounds about what i need. dont need (or want) the story of each option, just the numerical +/- in each area for each choice.

The effects are hidden, and I know of no such table existing in the public realm. Considering the amount of unknown variables, the inability to properly measure them, and the number of issues/choices available to us, creating a good table like that would literally take years of effort. While some people have valiantly started to create one, it looks to me they realized what they got themselves into and decided to ditch the effort.

When was the last time this list updated? For all we know there could be another 3 dozen issues not listed!
Kalaspia-Shimarata's flag represents the Union between K&S. The dark blue represents the sea and the light blue represents the sky. In Kalashi language considers light blue and dark blue to be different colours. England colonised, and unified K&S, between 1774 and 1953, and English, light blue and dark blue are considered to be the same colour. Therefore, the contrast between dark blue and light blue represents the union, but the differences between K&S where as blue being two but simultaneously one colour represents K&S being two, but simultaniously one entity. The opposite to the symmetry represents the unity and indipendance of K&S, whilst also representing the Kalashi culture of opposite symmetry.KS is 75% Christian, hence the cross.

So you mean to tell me that with all the issue writing contests, with all the people writing issues anyway, with all the issues I have writen that none have been approved since Febuary?

Kala, no offence, but with your track record and the kind of laws your country enacts, I don't really see your issues being high quality enough for gameplay. And the fact of the matter is a lot aren't. Theres a massive backlog and a lot are spammy, so it's not a regular thing.

If you want to post some to change my mind, feel free. Or TG em. I dont know.

The list is updated whenever it becomes known a new issue has been added, or when an issue has changed. Some people tend to post here when they find a new issue. I got 200 nations myself fishing for new issues. While I do my very best to keep this list up-to-date, there's always a possibility a new issue is missed (especially if the latest addition is an ultra-rare easter egg issue).

I guess my suggested issue, about boars, got rejected.

I thought I might get a telegraph or something about it.

How do I find out what happened and why?

Considering that the contest to find new editors ended back at New Year and we're still waiting to hear who (if anybody) has qualified...
The Confrederated Clans (and other Confrederated Bodys) of the Free Bears of Bears Armed
(includes The Ursine NorthLands) Demonym = Bear[s]; adjective = ‘Urrsish’.
Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.
Author of some GA Resolutions, via Bears Armed Mission; subject of an SC resolution.
Factbook. We have more than 70 MAPS. Visitors' Guide.
The IDU's WA Drafting Room is open to help you.
Author of issues #429, 712, 729, 934, 1120, 1152, 1474, 1521.
