Oh yeah right

Not at all; I'd be delighted. Even if it'd be backbreaking work. :)
You're welcome to telegram me any questions you have of the game. Unless I've CTE'd (ceased to exist) - then you physically can't do that.

Okay, then. I sorted them by issue ID and mostly the changes are marked like "123,1" when referring to option 1 of issue 123 or "123, issue" when referring to the issue text itself. Some also refer to the title, marked accordingly. "Dummy" double quotes mark a quote of text like when identifying a part of text where I noticed some change, missing italics or alike. Whole new options are usually put inside a box. Some validities are still uncertain to me, others seemed pretty straight forward to guess and confirm.
All without warrenty, although I was careful to check and note everything as accurate as possible. At least the numbering (issues and options) should all be correct as I was "extra careful" there.

Important things first: Missing texts, options recently discovered:
57,3 listed options are 1,2,4 (option 3 being the Socialist variant of option 2)
Director @@RANDOMNAME@@ of the State Technician’s Artificial Life Intelligence Network has a different idea. “Let us release SAL9000, our new AI, into the @@NAME@@ Network. It’ll put a stop to this virus. Never mind that it’s still only an untested beta!”

---
101,3 NEW (variant of option 2 for "leaning toward secular") - same effect line
“I agree that the pageants should be banned,” pontificates renowned moralist @@RANDOMNAME@@, author of Girls Just Want to Have Functional Apparel. “But purely in the name of decency! All those fashion stores that sponsor these contests make lots of money from this impropriety and that is just plain wrong! These women wear revealing clothing that seek to entice and seduce young men. As such, we should go a step further, and institute a dress code! Long, plaid skirts for the girls, with necklines that never drop below the base of the neck! Only then will the women of our nation be women we can be proud of!”

---
151,3 for Socialist nations as alternative to opt 2 (same effect line as opt 2)
“Why stop with making weapons for ourselves?” asks @@RANDOMNAME@@, Minister of State Exports. “We can sell them to all sorts of groups and organisations: other nations, the WA, terror- uh - freedom fighters, anyone! And we produce our own for our protection. Think of the money we can make! I’m sure none of our clients would ever even think of trying to use them to influence our government with threats or anything like that!”

---
183 the listed options are: 1,3,4,5
option 2 is:
“Embryo selection isn’t really genetic engineering in the technical sense,” explains Dr. @@RANDOMNAME@@, owner of the Babies-2-Go Clinic. “It’s more like being able to have a dozen abortions per month until you get the foetus you desire... which I guess would be illegal under the nation’s abortion ban, but you should be ‘terminating’ that ban too. I can’t really see what’s wrong with parents who can afford it being able to eliminate foetuses with undesirable genetic traits - like stupidity.”

Validity: 1: allows abortions; 2: no abortions
---
302,2 validity: must have Judiciary (and not banned cars?)
302,4 validity: has prisons; 302,5: no prisons
text:
5. “Wait, this is getting out of hand!” moans Benito De Luigi, CEO and co-founder of De Luigi Bros. Pizza. “We just wanted to dethrone those smug jerks at Papa Pallocci’s, that’s all! This isn’t our fault; the real culprit is, uh... suburbia! Yeah! Those rows and rows of poorly-built, identical houses on stupid cul-de-sacs are a confusing nightmare for our delivery crews. Most people should be living in urban high-rise apartments, and I guess everyone else can save time by not commuting so much. Offer some incentives to get people to move: a month’s free rent and a bulldozer through the living room if they refuse to leave!”

---
333,1?! MISSING options listed are 2-6 (Presumed validity for option2: Has Human Sacrifice) Not sure if the name is random here, I forgot to check =)
2. “These acts are an attack on @@NAME@@’s moral fiber!” stresses Rochelle Burton, the investigative reporter responsible for the exposé. “There are just some things that freedom of religion shouldn’t cover, and that includes ritual sacrifice, the harming of children or animals, or hell, even really bad choral singing. The government must enact restrictions on religious practices that offend public decency.”
---
484,2 listed are option 1,3-5. Validity: option 1 "has private industry", option 2 "does not have private industry"
2. “I’m shocked and appalled!” gasps @@CAPITAL@@ town crier @@RANDOMNAME@@, decked out in an obnoxious outfit with the same color scheme as the national flag. “People should be proud to call themselves a citizen of @@NAME@@, and we ought to start their proper political education when they’re young. History and civics classes need to be mandatory, so long as those imperialist right-wing loons aren’t providing the material. Kids must be forced to recite the national anthem and the Pledge of @@NAME@@ in schools. That’ll show those filthy capitalists in the United Federation! Long live the @@TYPE@@!”

---
692,4 add Opt.4, cf. that old report (which is Opt. 2 double for Socialist)
---
699,3 finally :) validity: Digital Currency
“What’s this woman prattling about?” huffs @@RANDOMNAME@@, your notoriously penny-pinching Treasury Minister, compulsively refreshing @@NAME@@’s balance sheet until @@HIS@@ computer crashes. “Everyone knows that lead’s not dangerous. It’s good for you. I heard it just this morning on talk-radio. As your body absorbs healthful lead, it seeps into your bones, makes them stronger, and works to protect against the carcinogens of environmental radiation. What we need, @@LEADER@@, is an extensive campaign to tell everyone the alternative facts about the many benefits of lead: posters, TV ads, catchy tunes... you name it.”

---
765, order changed (or previous opt 4 removed) The options listed as 5+6 are now 4+5 without the "while smoking a cigar." variant as number 4
---
1041,2 add option from Trot's report I can exclude "No Immigration" from that list; I'd go for Autarky and/or Socialism. Socialism alone did not receive it. Need to check if a Capitalist nation with Autarky sees it.
---
1178,5 slightly changed (I double-checked, Furry Thing's report also had choice-4), still for "Has Corporal Punishment"):
“That’s not a bad idea,” muses @@RANDOMNAME@@, the principal of your niece’s school, who came to your office to discuss the best way to discipline your wayward niece. “Because we don’t allow the use of corporal punishment on children, our kids are out of control! Since teachers aren’t allowed to physically caution the children, we should make a law that forces kids to punish themselves: ‘Timmy, you didn’t do your homework — whip yourself for ten minutes’. It’s perfect!”

---
1218 (names are all fixed)
1218,3 (validity: AI-planning)
3. Suddenly, Unit S/N: 323-U.S.-214(1944) twitches slightly, and its LCD goes blank. “Hello @@LEADER@@, SAL9000 here. As the AI in charge of the state’s economic planning, I propose that all AI should be put under my active surveillance too, so that I may directly intervene in the event of suboptimal behavior. This serves the government, which need not indefinitely detain its artificial citizens, who remain free to do as they please, barring error. It’s win-win, one might say.”

Next: Validities
269,3 validity: does not have "State Press"
---
293,4 validity: must have private industry
---
426,3 validity: does not have "Vat-grown people"
---
431,5 validity: Police has guns (not listed as policy but opt. 5 can be encountered even with active "Gun Control" policy)
---
647,1/2 validity: 1: Must have aircraft, 2: Must not have aircraft
647,1/2: "love of songbirds doesn’t" in italics
647,3 @@CURRENCYPLURAL@@
---
655,issue Gorgosaurus in italics
655,3+4 @@RANDOMNAME@@
655,5 dinosaurs capitalized
655,4/5 validity: 4 "has no dinosaurs", 5 "has dinosaurs"
---
741,1: validity: has curfew (?)
741,2: validity: has no curfew (?)
741,3: validity: has internet+computers
741,4: validity: has computers
---
I only received options 1,3,4,6, and 8 here (after keeping the people alive, having free-press and elections)
797,1 validity? has not killed dissidents?
797,2 validity? has killed dissidents?
797,4 validity? has free press (likely that)
797,5 validity? has state press (likely that)
797,7 validity? does not have elections?
797,8 validity? for all?
---
803,4 validity: not Vegegarism; opt 5 for Vegegarism
---
809, validity: 1 allows Alcohol, 2 Prohibition, 3: has private industry, 4: has no private industry, 5: all
---
815, validity: 1 "has private industries", opt 2 for "has no private industries"; opt 3 is male? -> if fixed: @@HIS@@ pineapple
---
823,2 validity: has private industries (?)
---
1121,4 validity: must have set @@FAITH@@, not just unlocked
---
1181,4 validity: has no Feudalism

Oddly, despite my having many more data points on that issue since then (over a thousand for this option), my data still supports all three policies as probably disqualifying the option. This could be due to anti-immigration nations still receiving the option but the players behind them being highly disinclined to choose it, but normally people aren't that consistent, and for something to never happen even once is unusual.

TalAkMaChen wrote:1178,5 slightly changed (I double-checked, Furry Thing's report also had choice-4), still for "Has Corporal Punishment"):
“That’s not a bad idea,” muses @@RANDOMNAME@@, the principal of your niece’s school, who came to your office to discuss the best way to discipline your wayward niece. “Because we don’t allow the use of corporal punishment on children, our kids are out of control! Since teachers aren’t allowed to physically caution the children, we should make a law that forces kids to punish themselves: ‘Timmy, you didn’t do your homework — whip yourself for ten minutes’. It’s perfect!”
That makes me wonder what happens on nations that do allow corporal punishment of children, since that's certainly something you can do (#64), although I didn't think it was a tracked policy flag.

I didn't write down which nation didn't receive #1041,2 but I think it was one of the War Dogs. That's how I noticed it had already been reported but still uncertain.
For #1178, I missed option 4 there when I got that text for option 5. Might be option 4 is now the "has no corporal punishment [for all, thus not explicitly mentioning the children]" or some other version the nation did not qualify for; or it actually is the "has corporal punishment" version, but I failed to get that one so far when I was on the watch.

An addition to TalAkMaChen's monster list, I've got another fix: #993 is called Drug Deals in this list, but 3 days ago I received "Drug Deal" without the "s".

It's always been Drug Deal, with no "s", so the list is incorrect.

I'd check TalAkMaChen's list but I have to stare blankly at the wall awhile, sorry.

And even a new one, fresh from the press. First issue of 2020 :)
#1303: Amateur Hour [Outer Sparta; ed: Zwangzug]

The Issue
The @@NAME@@ College Sports Association has a long-standing policy that collegiate athletes do not get paid. Several high-profile players have taken to camping out in the student loan office until their grievances are addressed.

The Debate
1. “Our team brings zillions of @@CURRENCYPLURAL@@ to campus,” notes @@RANDOMNAME_1@@, a member of the University of @@NAME@@ @@ANIMAL@@ball team. “We put our blood, sweat, and tears into representing this school, and we don’t even get compensation for our work! Give us a share of the wealth we create, so we can pay for tuition, books, and alco... well, all the necessities.”

2. “Kids these days,” trails off @@RANDOMNAME@@, an executive of the @@NAMEINITIALS@@CSA, struggling to remember @@HIS@@ talking point. “I mean to say, they’re already being paid in scholarships! Elite athletes will have plenty of time to profit from their talents once their school days are over, so don’t let scholarship recipients be distracted by monetization. They need to stay focused on earning their degrees.”

3. “Not all sports are equally profitable,” says snow volleyball player @@RANDOMNAME@@, taking a break from practice. “Professionalizing collegiate athletes would let popular @@ANIMAL@@ball players like @@LASTNAME_1@@ make bank while programs like mine fall by the wayside. @@NAME@@ should enforce a code of amateurism in all its sports, on campus or off. It’s the only way to be fair.”

4. “Who let all these jocks on campus?” questions @@RANDOMNAME@@, an honors student at the University of @@CAPITAL@@. “The point of higher education is to pursue knowledge and prepare for your career, not watching your sweaty classmates fight over their balls. Let’s do away with college sports entirely and reaffirm our commitment to what university is really about: learning, research, and pursuing hot co-eds.”

Alright so finally got around to this. Hopefully I don't have any more distractions,
like being too tired from constantly waking up after <7 hours' sleep at 7AM to want to do anything other than play puzzle games,
or multiple cats having health problems and costing you 3-weeks' salary in one day.
or a new upload of Crack in the Cryptic where Simon solves an absolutely beautiful sudoku but the video's 50 minutes long.

:)

*gets discord messages from friends now of all times* haha yeah that's my life >.> ok seriously lets do this thing.

That said it was kinda fitting to have a word that wasn't popularly used for that option, but ah well.

@1288: Holy crap that issue description — also holy crap MICROCHIPS

I reported earlier about the 6 options here, but I didn't have all texts. The list includes 1-5 and options 4 and 5 (i.e. choice-3 and 4) have the same wording -- just the effect line differs slightly.

Dang. How the heck are you finding all these?
Great heathens, now that I check each and every issue I receive with great care, I find more and more inconsistencies to the "known", i.e. previously reported versions. It could of course also be that there were amendments done over the years.

Oh dear...
[quote=you also"]The previously reported options are not 1-5 but 1, and 3-6 with option 2 (choice-1) missing in the list[/quote]
oh wow thank you, updated. Also added the italics and capitalized "The" in that name.
Also updated my list of missing options — any idea as to what the validity of this could be? (I didn't even read the options, just kinda trying to update everything.)
you also also wrote:#572, option 3 is not available for No-Computer policy

Ahah, good to know. Thank you :) (I assume you also need internet)
(and it was at this point I noticed you had a bajillion things to update) oh dear god yeah no way I'd be able to finish this last year, I'll be lucky if I get this done by the end of this month

And speaking of which, it was about this point I got hungry, had a short snack, decided to do something with my brother after realizing it was almost time for bed.
Will get back to all this, this is fascinating, but I tell you, I'm almost convinced the only reason I got inspired to do this was because I had a random surge of energy,
and I can't tell if it was the 10-30 minute nap (learning those are really good as opposed to the 1-3 hour naps I used to take) or the ginseng I started taking tonight,
but either way I'm thankful I had at least a good 30-60 minutes of enthusiasm my past three days off.

The stateswoman in #1248 appears to be "Jadzia @@RANDOMLASTNAME_1@@". Note that the last name also appears in option 2. I dunno what "Jadzia" might be a reference to.

Incidentally, both this and last time I got the issue, all of the characters were female, though that might be a coincidence.

It was a coincidence. It's a full random name.

Jadzia exists in the randomname database because of Star Trek: DS9, I assume, though that's just a guess, not insider knowledge.

Argh, it's too early in the morning for this..

#1305: The Woman From AUNT [Altmer Dominion; ed: Candlewhisper Archive]

The Issue
An intelligence team, the “Agents Undercover to Neutralize Troublemakers”, has pinpointed the headquarters of notorious crime boss Sal Bone. Unfortunately, it is concealed within a local orphanage, of which Mr. Bone is a sponsor. Lacking only a smoking gun, AUNT has come to your office with a delicate request.

The Debate

1. “AUNT would like to launch a mole operation inside the orphanage,” buzzes Special Agent Angela Haskell, radioing in from an undisclosed location. “One problem: none of the team is young enough to pull off an effective inside job. We’ve been kicking around the idea of recruiting and training a few kids — maybe orphans themselves — to act as our eyes and ears. Already got a circus kid named Grayson as a potential candidate. There’s a lot of covert situations where juvenile agents could be useful. If this mission goes well, we could even expand their role into a full-time intelligence division.”

2. “The team opinion ain’t unanimous!” yells Special Agent Miley Orbison, her voice crackling through the receiver. “We don’t need to endanger defenseless children! We just need to teach smaller-sized adult women how to act like kids. With a convincing enough performance, I’m sure they’ll pass as kids in no time!”

3. “What are these fools waiting for?” bellows Colonel @@RANDOMLASTNAME@@, furiously switching off the communication channel. “A 90% certainty is good enough for me. I'll restrain from editing the "monster list" but instead add new stuff in new entries, it might get confusing else.
  • So, to start: The missing option 1 for #1231
    1. “@@LEADER@@, rescue us from the Ultra-Violetist terror,” sobs @@RANDOMNAME@@, the leader of the Gullivadian branch of @@FAITH@@, hiding the pale lavender prayer beads that slip out of @@HIS@@ pocket. “Your missionaries saved us from the dread wrath of Violet’s love. Please, allow all those who share your faith to freely enter your country. Those who accept @@FAITH@@ are your spiritual family and would be a wonderful asset for @@NAME@@. Do not abandon your spiritual brethren to despair, dismemberment and death by boiling.”

Comparing to option 2, it appears obvious to be indeed the validity is Immigration being legal or not. I assume the speaker to be random but for reference, I had a female.
  • 85,3 @@RANDOMNAME@@
  • Issue 123 seems to either have changed or has new options added. I recently got options 1,2,3,5,6 with slightly different texts than listed in the big list:
    5. “This is all abhorrent and aberrant!” declares @@RANDOMNAME@@, professor from the @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ School for the Serious Study of Scientific Stuff. “You can’t just create meat. It’s against nature, and you’ll find that pretty much every academic will back me up on this one. Living things are born. Or hatched. Or germinated. And then there’s mitosis of course, but that’s not the point - the point is that there are some things that Men were not meant to meddle with. We should keep well away from the whole cloning business altogether.”

    6. “That guy has no sense of vision,” says @@RANDOMNAME@@, your Minister of Demographics. “Why waste this invention on healthcare or cookery when so much more could be done! Mandate that all new people be grown in vats! Disease will be a thing of the past! When they break, just grow new parts! It adopts the industrial method to population management, something we’ve needed for a long time. And now that we finally have the right technology, I say we do it!”

I guess option 4 is the old one, i.e. "more religious" version of this 5th (both ask for a ban of cloning) and have the same effect line. The 6th option might either have replaced the listed 5th, or the listed 5th is the 7th now (I'm sure my reported numbers are correct :D). Either way, validity for option 6/7 is unclear to me (one asking to sterilize, the 6th is without that part).
  • 167,3 changed "clean non-fluoridated drinking water" (with a "d" instead of "n" in fluoridated)
  • 314,issue "investigation by The @@CAPITAL@@ Times has shown" in italics
  • 344,2 validity: has prisons
  • 370,issue "overnight collapse of the @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ economy, panicked"
  • 382,1 @@RANDOMNAME@@ without "Oblate"
  • 420 listed are options 1,3,4; validity: 1 (has prison), 2 (has no prison)
    2. “Isn’t this typical?” scoffs columnist @@RANDOMNAME@@, “Once again these crooked politicians are getting away with things that would see regular folk punished. The government is sending a very mixed message by not acting on this. They decry drugs, yet several of their own are known users. If the government has any sense of credibility they would send these criminals to rehab with the rest of the druggies.”
  • 425,4 has some validity check. I did not see it at a Socialist nation, maybe that's why - speaker talks about all the privatized agriculture.
  • 474,3+4 has some validity check, "does not have dinosaurs", cf. here
  • 481,5 "from downtown @@CAPITAL@@ across 110th street."
  • 483,2 "McRonald’s CEO"
  • 499,1 fixed as "Catherine Gratwick" (again her? some editor must be a fan :D)
  • 525,2 changed "CEO" to "head"
  • 604 options 4 and 5 are exchanged (the listed 4th appeared as 5th at one of my nations while not having option 4 at a Socialist nation).
  • 621,2 @@RANDOMNAME@@
  • 651,2 "uh, I mean compete" in italics
651,3 "contractor firm International Retail Security." in italics
  • 664,3 has some validity check: must have private industries
  • 668,3 "we got a saying: ‘Hey Guvmint! Butt out!’. " in italics
  • 686, issue+1+4 "@@CURRENCYPLURAL@@" instead of "units"
  • 692,2+3 validity: has private industry, 4: has no private industry
  • 703,1 "and author of God May Love You, But Everyone Else Thinks You Suck." in italics
  • 746 validity
    1+4: all
    2: has internet
    3: no internet
5: some anti-Violetist choice in the issue series?
  • 816,4 has a fully @@RANDOMNAME@@, not just last name
  • 876,issue "After the ban on sequels, the @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ film industry"
  • 906,4 validity : lean towards secular, I assume? Can't be both the same
  • 967,1 "This Eckie-Cola Scientific Review is" in italics
  • 998,issue "Since its establishment, The Committee On Un@@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ Activities has been busy" in italics
  • 1008,issue "Little @@ANIMAL@@ Elementary School" in italics
  • 1020,1 "and actually make money from this" in italics
  • 1109,4 "condemned book H2Whoa: @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ Utopia. " and "letting them think.” " in italics
  • 1121,4 must have some additional validity that blocks nations from seeing it. Even with some (low) religiousness, a custom FAITH it wasn't seen at War Dogs IV Maybe the tele-preacher only shows up at nations with religiousness above a certain value.
  • 1178,4
    4. “That’s not a bad idea,” muses @@RANDOMNAME@@, the principal of your niece’s school, who came to your office to discuss the best way to discipline your wayward niece. “Everyone’s going on these days about how corporal punishment on kids should be banned. I guess we could spank them less to satisfy the bleeding hearts. And thus, in order to still maintain order in schools, we should make a law that forces kids to punish themselves: ‘Timmy, you didn’t do your homework — whip yourself for ten minutes’. It’s perfect!”
  • 1224,1 " so we had to jump on it!" in italics
  • 1271,1 “@@LEADER@@!” (the opening quote's missing)
  • 1281,3 "panel declaring Number Five Is Alive." in italics
    1281,3 validity: has Immigration
  • 1294,2 "remind you, isn’t even on trial, to cut her" in italics (I had it correct in my initial report, duh)

Alright, lets get back to this. This'll be quite a lot more updating than I thought it'd be.
(though I'm thankful for all the reporting, really.)

Updated and super-italicized issue #684, got it started last time.
There's a new option 5 to this one for Vegetarism nations

Good to know? Except... vegetarianism? The policy I'd see being a factor would be lack of guns in the police/military. O_o
*Looks* Oh it's in the effect line. Still kinda odd but alright.
edit: Should note I put in option 5's text then, assuming it's exactly the same.*
*Well, sorta; I actually just used one text and had *4&5 in the entry, along with clarifying validities at the end. I do that now and then, though admittedly,
it was at first mostly for earlier issues due to there being 25 issues per page instead of 20, and I'm saving as much room as possible for those.

Italicized 750's opening, added 892.4, updated 902.3, italicized the MooMoo,
fixed the mixup in 1214 (actually I just forgot to put a "not" in 2's validity, oops),
added 1275.2, did nothing to 127.5 (Lest there be confirmation, the text could equally mean opening borders period),
"adjusting his hat" became "adjusting a hat"

Is the comma still there?

Added 181.4 (thank you for going back, was overlooked I guess :(),
randomnamified 236.1 and 358.3, fixed 358.2 (Somehow I failed to realize 3 was a variant option),
italicized 572.2 & 631.O; italicized text, indoctrinated the doctor and macroed your leader in 653,
removed a space in 640(not in your list but I did it anyway), and tackled 1053... *inhales* ok.

So, I added an E in @@NAME@@, and added your validity, however I'm not at all sure why this is a validity check for this option.
Also, the name put in there is Mary @@RANDOMLASTNAME@@, which... I don't understand, but alright.
Wouldn't mind some clarification on this one, if at all possible.

Italicized the first instances of rolling highway in 1071.4&5, italicized 1175.3 (already had dashed 1175.1),
got song stuck in my head...
Bah humbug! No that's too strong... 'tis my favorite holiday... confounded retail store holiday music on repeat

Also randomnamified 1236 (kept the important names tho); made sure to mottoify the fourth name. :)

Gonna go nom on something now. But at least this is part 1 of the megaproject done.
(And hopefully this'll mean I won't have to go through HUFOI then... :))

#1306 The Least Common Educator

The Issue

A report released by the Mathematical Sciences Institute has revealed that only one in four @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ schoolchildren is taught by a qualified math teacher. Your advisers speculate that the populace may eventually be rendered too ignorant to pay their taxes, and so urge immediate action.

The Debate

1. "We have plenty of teachers; they just don't teach math... yet," remarks @@RANDOMNAME@@, a high-level education official. "So just retrain a bunch of <i></i>'em. Mandatory retraining sessions can be held whenever student demand is light, like evenings, weekends, lunch breaks, and national holidays. But sooner or later, boom, you've got qualified math teachers. Didn't even need a calculator."

2. "If a school has four math classes, but only one math teacher, what should you do?" asks @@CAPITAL@@-area algebra teacher @@RANDOMNAME@@, who has been grading multiple choice questions for too long. "Should you, A, cry tears of despair over the impending mathocalypse? B, beat the living snot out of any useless, uninformed bureaucrats who advocate for what is, essentially, educator abuse? Or C, invest more @@CURRENCYPLURAL@@ into math departments across @@NAME@@ in order to make teaching more appealing to graduates with math-related degrees? The answer here is clear."

3. "The school system is puttin' too much pressure on our kids," rambles rural bureaucrat @@RANDOMNAME@@. "Where I'm from, the only knowledge y'need is how to live off the land, and how to respect folks. So let's take math out of the curriculum, and stress more practical knowledge, like farming or resource conservation! Might sound stupid, but I never learnt math, and I'm just fine! I've been the mayor of my town for twelve years!" @@HE/SHE@@ says, before checking on @@HIS/HER@@ fingers.

4. ???

5. "This is exactly where a sensible immigration policy would come in handy," states Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations @@RANDOMNAME@@. "Perhaps the addition of skilled, foreign labor is just what we need. Let's offer prospective math teachers a few common-sense perks in order to maximize our appeal. We could, for example, offer lenient visa requirements, generous living accommodations, access to government transportation, and extensive financial benefits. It'd obviously get pricey, but it's for the children."

Issue by Candensia
Edited by Baggieland
For some reason there is a blank italics field where indicated. I left it as HTML tags so it's visible.

I'm not sure what option 4 might be. It could have to do with No Immigration, but the nation I got this on does have that policy and option 5 isn't particularly obvious about "we should change that".

My thanks to Baggieland for the stellar edit!

Here is 1306.4 Unless there was a change during the edit, option 1306.4 is valid for nations that allow immigration, 1306.5 is valid for nations that prohibit immigration.

“We’ve got a brainpower outage, it seems,” states Deputy Minister of Immigration @@RANDOMNAME@@. “Perhaps the addition of skilled, foreign labor is just what we need. We should maximize our appeal from an immigration standpoint. Let’s offer prospective math teachers lenient visa requirements, generous living accommodations, access to government transportation, and extensive financial benefits nobody could refuse. It’d obviously get pricey, but we’re doing it for our kids, right?”

The issue is referring to dinosaurs, not pet dogs. As for the legality of pets, issues don't track every possible policy that may exist anywhere in the world.

And kindly use this thread only to report suspected errors with macros or validities, or objective spelling, grammar or punctuation errors. Not merely to satisfy your own curiosity.

Ah, the "not about dogs" was obvious to me as well :)
The question was why the fourth option was not visible. Alas, I only searched for 474, not continued reading after... seems you already replied to Ransium back in the day so I'll just update the report for "missing validities" so Jutsa can add that to the list.

It's to make the automated curving of straight quotes curve the right way for 'em. It's a fudge fix, but it works.

I got a new option for #514, listed as option 4:
4. “For this debtor’s life, let justice itself stand accused!” interjects @@RANDOMNAME@@, famed pedant and interfering busybody. “There is a law mandating measurements made metric, correct? Thus we must conclude, a ‘pound of flesh’ means nothing to the law, and the contract is void. Let precedent be set — without a metric of measure, a promise cannot bind!”

I thought it was due to the nation receiving this was Vegetarian (cutting flesh there, but still... don't need to eat it as well), but it appears to be rather due to "Metricism" as validity.
