Please help me with these issues

Postby Genomita » Tue Aug 17, 2010 10:59 am

I would like to know how the different options of these issues affect my nation, particulary the civil and political freedoms:

Mandatory organ harvesting

For whom the road tolls

Now Vat's food for thought

Child casino shock

I might add more later, but please help me with these for now. Thanks in advance ^^

i sincerely apologize for double-posting, but it really irks me that half the time I request help with a issue, noone bothers to provide support. I am currently facing the issue "Child casino shock", which asks me to either outlaw gambling or let children risk their pocket money. I don't like either solution, but I am also trying to dismiss as few issues as possible. So please let me know how this issue and the other three listed above will affect my nation, particulary the civil and political freedoms.

I honestly do not have the information required to be able to predict how an issue will effect any nation, including yours. I think only the Game Moderators / Admins do, and they are obviously not going to give away what is part of the game: trying to imagine by yourself what the effect might be, answering the issues, and occasionally be surprised by what happened being other than what you expected.

I will do that, though to be honest I feel neither like banning gambling nor like encouraging children to gamble, and dismissing the issue wouldn't accomplish anything.

i would guess that letting kids gamble would be giving them more civil rights and freedom, and also boost the economy because childrens money is now in circulation rather than in there piggy bank.just a guess though. i dont think it would have any political effect, although i might just be too naive.

Maybe, though i eventually decided to dismiss that issue, both because neither option seemed like a good idea to me and because i don't want to teach the children of our nation that success depends on luck alone. (Yes, i know it's just a game ^^)

I know what you mean :p I would have gone for an age restriction or legalization (would have to think about that), but the reasoning behind the second option is just not my philosophy. So I dismissed an issue for the first time.
