@@DEMONYMPLURALNOUN@@ are starting to notice how bland and downright boring their nation is. Several ministries have solutions, and have sent their Ministers to present them to you.

Invalid for all nations with low averageness

First up is the Minister of Poorly Thought Out Solutions. “@@LEADER@@, I think we’ve all noticed. There’s very little that sets us apart from the other nations in @@REGION@@. My solution is simple. We pass a bunch of new laws that will make us more interesting. I’m talking bans, new felonies, and whole new systems. All you have to do is sign here, and we’ll be interesting again.”

The Anti-Boredom Bill introduces a ban on anything made from @@ANIMAL@@ tongues, makes loitering a felony, and shortens days from 24 hours to 3 hours

The Tourism Minister is next. “Let’s not do anything that drastic. It’s obvious that in order to make @@NAME@@ more exciting, we have to have more exciting things to do. All I need is a few million @@CURRENCYPLURAL@@, and we’ll have the best annual parades the world has ever seen!”

Surprisingly, your Minister of War also has an idea. “Face it. We’re boring. However, unlike these weaklings think, it’s because we’re not at war. My solution is that you declare war on a country—how about…Maxtopia. I had a bad Maxtopian turkey sandwich today—then, trust me, excitement will pick up real fast. Might as well bump up military funding while you’re at it.”

Sovereign nations are invaded “to shake things up”

Finally, your Minister of Stagnation presents his…not really solution. “I don’t see the problem with being the same as everyone else. These young whippersnappers might call us boring, but back in my day, if you were average, that was a compliment. I think we should stay average. It’s not so bad, plus it’s good for foreign relations if we’re not out here doing crazy things.”

Not exactly a premise that would stand out or be of use. Also, your options are all over the place and don't seem to fit.

For the last result, In my opinion, I wouldn’t say to pass new laws to become more average, I would have the guy say something about just staying how the nation is, to stay average. I’d say that the person saying that the nation should be average wouldn’t want them to try to be average, they’d probably just like to stay how it is. Maybe that didn’t make sense idk my thoughts.

Agree with Outer Sparta. Also, please format your drafts with clearly labeled premises and options to make them a bit easier to read.

The current premise is just too vague and results in your options being all over the place. What, exactly, does it mean that your nation’s “boring”? Why is this bad or at least something that should be changed? Try to reframe the draft with a clear policy question.

But what does that mean? There’s a big difference between “Name is very bland because it’s bland and that’s bad because it’s bad” and “Name’s reputation for being an uninteresting place due to popular travel guides saying so is hurting your tourism,” for example.
