It is a fundamental truth of NationStates that you (Leader) can never lose power, be usurped, or otherwise fail to maintain control of government. There can certainly be opposition, resistance, threats, close calls, etc, but nothing can ever go so far as a coup, an acknowledgement of somebody else taking over, or a loss of the player's authority. No matter what direction you go, enough of your people will always support you that this kind of thing just doesn't happen.
