Is it possible to re-submit an old draft if you re-draft it?

Basically, I have an old submission which was probably submitted a little prematurely. Upon reflection, I would like to re-draft and re-submit the issue if possible but I'm not sure if the double-up will cause confusion for the editing team? Is this acceptable? Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your help in advance.

This is generally fine.

Avoid submitting multiple copies that are essentially the same draft with only trivial changes, but it is OK if you have done a substantial redraft.
