2021, updated easter egg issues guide

Hello everyone. just notice that the owner of the other Easter Egg guide has become an ex-nation and that the other Easter Egg guide is even more outdated, I decided to write a new guide.

I mean, I could complain to Drasnia that he is not precise on two of them, but he ain't with us anymore

as Drasnia once wrote

An Easter Egg is a special type of issue that nations can only ever encounter once. They're meant to be jokes and references about NationStates that would otherwise not be suitable in a normal issue.

Or in other words, they are funny issues that do not refer to a problem your nation is facing, it's more like a joke.

Another unique point of Easter Egg is that in most cases Easter Egg issues are not triggered by the stats or the policies or your nation, but rather by your nation's custom settings, your motto, your animal, your pre-title for example or by the Easter Egg counter.

While many suggested a population of 1 billion to begin hunting for Easter Eggs, all nations regardless of their population can hunt and appreciate the Easter Eggs. To be more exact, 80, 223, 266, 375, 408, and 471 do not have any population requirement. 215 require at least 500 million, 622 require at least 750 million, 1122 require at least 1 billion and 78 require 1.25 billion.

This Guide will cover the requirement for all Easter Eggs but 1.

Do not have an (e) or (E) in any of your custom settings
This Include Demonym, singular, adjective and plurals,
This requires 1 billion because major religion is the nation's default religion.

Nations can trigger at least 10 Easters with the following settings

Pre-Title : Pink Holy Lucky Christmas
Motto : Moon, Friendship, NationStates, Brains
Currency: Candy Cane Gold Bar
Animal : Bat
Leader : Santa Claus
Religion : Athyism
City : Yggdrassil


this will get you qualified for 77, 78, 80, 215, 223, 266, 408, 430 and 622.
then once you receive 266 and 408, you can simply remove "friendship, Nation-States And change the currency to something like Gold/Gold Bar, to become Eligible for 1122.

So. if you guys find easter egg to be funny like me, you now have will information you need to find them
Also, noting that we do not know anything about 256. if anyone find, can you share the settings and the stats you had when you found it ? this would be very helpful for all hunters out here.

Minskiev claim to have found 256 by being capitalist, and having gold in crime. We need more test to back this claim.

No.

I tracked using a Ods (libreoffice calc) file, in which I record which easter I get from a nation I receive.
so, you must track it yourself.

You can verify two eggs, which 80 and 223, thanks to the banner they unlock
The Future is Near (only unlock by accepting the aliens trade deal)
Infected (is unlocked by solving 223.)
so if you don't have these banners, you do not have these easter eggs.
other then that, only certain persons can access our issues history.

I'm still pretty sure that you also need a decent pizza industry. Due to stat escalation since when the game was made, it doesn't need to be an exceptionally big pizza industry by current census standards (top 50% or so will do), but I know I've had a puppet with relevant words in its custom fields for ages and it still hasn't gotten the egg, with the trashed pizza industry being the most likely explanation.

It must be positive.
if you have negative pizza, ( meaning you oppose the existence of Pizza industry,) you can forget ever finding this egg.
I mean, I went for EE on all my puppets. so I think I know when I got the alien one. it was always after the pizza became positive, it could be a low at 17. but never when negative.

I think it would be useful if there were: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=489934 or viewtopic.php?p=38828490#p38828490, but as far as I am aware, a normal player cannot access this info.

I ran a test with a few of my puppets in search of issue 256. The trigger of this issue is gaining banner d1 'crippeling crime problem'. my puppet achieved this banner at a value of 16.72 (probably the minimum is 16.5). The search to the trigger custom field continues.

Edit: I do not remember banners to be around when this issue was released but it might be that the banner has been coupled to the same value. This value may be a bit lower at 16, as suggested by others.

It do not have a population requirement, you can have it before 250 millions, before having a capital city, and well before 500 millions.

yeah cteing and reviving is one of the way to get this egg. but its not necessary. you can get it without cteing.

To do surburbs get your crime rate higher along with a space program, and for aliens revive your pizza industry. Provided you change your editable fields to match the Easter eggs you are good.

you should just updated you suggestion about 80 and 408, they are not completly exact.
I mean 408 come from friendship

and 80, you do not state the Pizza requirement, and I know its there, since I tested it myself.
