Which issue might that be? Five Year Plans And New Deals used to smoke your economy, but they fixed that while back because the effect was outrageously overblown. Outdated Tax Code Crushing @@NAME@@? did that too; not sure if they changed it.

On the only occasion when I chose this option for one of my [OOC] puppets, @@LEADER@@ there was very disappointed to find out that a "space hopper" didn't have ground-to-orbit capabilities... so he shot it!

100% agree, I crashed my economy this way and spent about 6 months repairing it. Best time for issue answering I ever had. If answering issues have very little effect after a while it starts to get really boring.

To each their own. I treat my economy like an eggshell. If you destroy the economy to rebuild the industries then your people will suffer, financially at the very least
