lol I thought I was replying to our anti-Marxist friend here. My point stands. The sanctions are crippling the people more than the government.

No, I want issues choices to have diversity in choice, as I stated in my example above all to often the choices are bad, bad awful, horrible or bad

Yes, that is the nature of politics. There are few easy choices. "Here is your perfect and easy choice, here is your terrible choice" would be dull.

Being in the top 10 for most corrupt countries can't be wrong. I'm not a neo-con, but we're not responsible for all or even most of that country's woes. Corruption in the government is responsible for that.

Fraser is actually right here. I've read this study before, and it's fairly accurate. It's just, the root cause isn't socialization. It's the level of micromanagement from the government, that isn't seen in countries like Germany.

Let me remind you no Country in the history of the World has risen more people form sickness and poverty and given more opportunity and education then that of the USA and Capitalism!
My choices are;
Screw Insurance Companies
Screw Good Doctors caught in a poor system
Screw People that were injured by Doctors mistakes
OR Universal Healthcare!
Are you fucking kidding me?
Whoever wrote this better be living in some bullshit socialist Country! I am so tired of the Anti American ways of life, all while sucking off the teets of the USA!

Maybe, but I of course object to the narrative here. We have worse healthcare than Canada, and this guy is using that article to deny reality.

This thread isn't about Venezuela, but I'll just correct the fact : the sanctions started before the "main crisis", and the "main crisis" actually started because Venezuela was hit by combination of record drought, USA-incited violent "unrest" (actually more akin to terrorism), USA-inflicted sanctions, and global world crisis that made oil prices tank.
That Maduro (and to a lesser extend Chavez) did mistakes, especially in not moving fast enough to move the country from its dependency on oil (which they didn't create, they inherited from it), I don't deny it. But the core causes of the Venezuela crisis are external, not internal, and Chávez/Maduro mistakes are more problems they inherited and didn't fix than problems they created.

Coming up with a way to feel victimized on a game, appears to serve their narrative better as they've already been told to go do this. But it appear actually doing something to fix the "issue", doesn't appear to actually be something this person wants, because it would invalidate that need to feel like the victim of a website created by an Australian being "un-American"
