Hrr'rmm, if I'd known that this was coming then I'd have delayed submission of 'Cuy Bono? by just a few more days...

I'd intended to get the announcement up on the 28th, rather than late on the 1st when the Contest was already theoretically underway, but didn't get around to it. So if anyone submitted an issue from the 28th onwards that they want used as their Contest submission, let us know here, and you can re-submit it for the Contest.

As long as you don't tick the contest button, you can submit multiple, non-contest drafts during the contest period.

Its a great issue, but onwards and upwards. Personally, I now look back at my earliest issues and feel shocked at their lack of finesse and craft. I think the more you write, the better you get. And by that, I mean the colloquial "you" and also the specific "you".

I reckon the competition will still be pretty tough. I'd assume most people are submitting their entries in the final week, so that 150 could easily turn into 300+!
