- Capitalisation
- if the nation paid off the majority of the debt there's still some more debt left, so paying 5x the amount would probably do nicely to cover a portion of the remainder?
- Option 2 makes no sense: @@NAME@@ gave the money, so there's no theft involved here. There could still be an option in 'let's threaten them until they return the money' to some extent, maybe. But why stop there? if @@NAME@@ has the military power to get the money, why not extort 10x that?

thanks to the feedback you do make some good points, I might flesh this out more. also, I believe it was the debt to a nation, why the country would be in debt to another nation is beyond me, maybe a trade deal or something, Idk. I will certainly make sure to fix any illogical pieces (well to be honest the entire issue is illogical), anyways, thanks.

I think you were a little trigger-happy with exclamation points in the description and I think "I say we should teach these criminals a lesson! and bomb all their cities with napalm!" should be replaced with "I say we should teach these criminals a lesson and bomb their cities!". Take my opinions with a pinch of salt, though, because I am new to Got Issues.

How does something like this even? Why would even have the authority to release such copious amounts of money without proper checks and balances in place? Unless the amount was inconsequential- in the case, who cares? Also, in the description, did you mean to say "released" rather than "realized"?

Realized, I’m still new to this so I have literally no clue what’s going on. And I made this issue to be illogical, it’s a completely stupid avoidable, and illogical situation.

Hi there, I think you might find the How to Write An Issue guide quite useful if you're not sure which direction to take this draft in. There's helpful advice on how to fine-tune issue ideas, details about how to structure each section of your draft and useful tips on how you can improve each of the sections. Apologies if you've already taken a look at the guide!

My other advice for you would be to write your draft in Microsoft Word (or a similar program), spell-check it (I use the free version of Grammarly and would recommend it) and then paste it to the forum. That way you can avoid some of the more obvious mistakes and it means the drafting process on the forum is a bit quicker.

You're also welcome to post any questions about issue-writing in The Writers' Block - in my experience, the people there are always happy to help.
