The subject matter is a little dry and lacks much interest beyond recent RL events, so if the Issue is to work well it needs to be much more humorous and light-natured IMO. The Effects in particular need refinement because they are very matter of fact right now.

Do you all think that this is to broad focused, or do you think I should prepare to submit it (basically make it Last Call), or something else entirely.

I have two versions of the draft up, I’m leaning towards the first, but any feedback on either draft and/or which is better would be much appreciated.

I really like the second one, Congressional Non-Concession. I find the options more believable in that scenario (in a totally hypothetical sense, of course).

My main sticking point however is the effect line for the option about paper ballots. If the whole point of choosing paper ballots is to be secure, then why is the effect line about fake ballots? It seems a bit prejudicial against that option, at least. Not to say that fake ballots can't be printed and all. I personally would have done one about paper cuts or something.

Changed that effect line. I guess I’ll wait for more feedback then on which one to go forward with.

I actually have 0 qualms with this. I do somewhat feel like waiting until option 2 to reveal that the voting machines were manufactured in Marche Noir might be even funnier, but that as an aside, this is a really good draft. Good luck to you.

Hmm, I am wondering whether Marche Noire is a good choice. I realize you make a point of them being hostile, but would a country really use a hostile country's technology? That doesn't seem to hold up to snuff to me.

Some previous Edward Rump options (not all of them though) have really leaned hard into the mocking of a certain RL personality's speech patterns. This option's getting there, but you could afford to lay it on a bit thicker.

Thankfully, he's generally only mentioned as "Edward Rump", so it's pretty easy to Ctrl+F search the spoiler thread for past appearances and gauge the feel.
