I don't think "privately" would be an issue here, since the media would be private if it's no longer state-run (at least, this is my understanding of your concern). I removed any mention of "corporate" in option 5. The intention was to have the advisor be making a generic reference to the evils of capitalism and sensationalism, not making commentary on your nation's actual policies, but I think that phrase was starting to become more trouble than it's worth.
