[SUBMITTED] Orange You Glad?

Postby Lanurstia » Wed Jun 24, 2020 3:49 pm

Description: @DENONYMPLURAL@ everywhere have been horribly staining their teeth with orange juice. They just can't get enough of it.

Option 1: "Oh, our teeth don't matter!" exclaims Oran G. Epeel, the owner of a renowned orange juice factory. "As long as we @DENONYMPLURAL@ have the liquid gold beside us, we will be perfectly fine! We will only be drinking the orange juice anyways, so eating will be abolished! There will be no need for food; it's a win-win!"

Effect: In nearby Brancaland, it is rumored that @DENONYMPLURAL@ are mindlessly roaming the streets as unidentifiable orange globs.

Option 2: "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" shouts Ms. Apple, a 15 year-old fashion expert. "Like, I'm forced to drink it. You don't understand. Like, I dont even like it and my friends force me into it. It's not like it's like a nessesary thing. It can be gone, and it will be, like, gone. IT WILL BE GONE. Like, I hate how it smells, how orange it is, how it, like, stains my teeth.... There's like literally no benefits of that dang orange juice! Come on, who's with me?"

Effect: A nation-wide ban on orange juice has taken place. @DENONYMPLURAL@ are not happy, to say the least.

Option 3: Someone's grandmother comes rushing to you, waving her cane amidst the crowd. "Hey, hey, hey! Hush, hush, calm down. Grandma has something to say. The obvious way to go is to the middleground. Why don't we just have orange juice seasons? Let's say for only a couple months you can get some of that liquid gold. But in the rest of the months, supply is extremely limited. How 'bout that eh?"

Effect: Stores are flooded during the orange juice season. Both with the orange juice, and the customers.

Option 4: "Hmm. Orange juice, orange juice, orange juice. Orange. Juice." Dr. Zest, an ex-dentist and now sorcerer, says sinisterly. "We shall drink the juice once a day, and only once per day, for it is important to reduce the abundance of cavities. Orange juice, orange juice, orange juice."

Effect: @DENONYMPLURAL@ have begun fasting.

I would like it to be Dr. Zest for the orange themed names. If you're talking about the "@DENONYMPLURAL@" part, it means that it is kind of a trend

No reference to 100% Orange Juice? For shame!

Also, approved.

P.S. Orange you glad I didn't say lime?

It is was a small problem, then turned into a serious problem. The citizens have the stinkiest breath and the worst teeth. It is interrupting foreign trade when coming face to face. Is it too late to fix when I've already submitted it?

Firstly, please mark your [SUBMITTED] issue drafts accordingly. Secondly, 21 hours - less than a day - is way too little time to be drafting an issue.

You don't absolutely have to give it time, but it is a courtesy when you're posting it for others to review.

If you'd like to work on it more, just say so in this thread and the editors will see it relatively quickly. They can kick it out, you can take more time drafting, and then submitting it when it's fully ready.

Well then. I would like to work on it more. I'm guessing that I should change it back from [SUBMITTED] to [DRAFT]?

Try to see if any issue editors woupd be willing to delete this issue for you and please, please wait at least 2 weeks before submitting. More often than not, it'll be more than 2 weeks

I have telegrammed an issue editor to hopefully get that done for me.
What I meant was: the amount of orange juice drinking has gone too far and the rotten teeth+the foul breath of the people is making other nations want to avoid doing trade with them.

Is this really something so widespread? It's not like a majority of the citizens in a nation participate in trade, or need to come face to face with someone when doing so.

I guess it causes health issues too by drinking too much orange juice every day. It's just another thing I'll fix if they delete my issue submission so that I can revise it

Yeah, try to mention that in the issue (wherever you feel it'd fit best) to make the premise relevant

I don't think you get a notice if an IE deletes an issue.
