Was fun to have a competition again. Honestly would've probably not bothered with NS for a while were it not for it.
(Course, I would've gotten a lot more progress done on my other projects, but that's beside the point.)
Not like I was aiming to win, but still, it gave me a good excuse to get old drafts done. and then make half a dozen more.
And proceed to not work on my half-dozen existing drafts I still want to work on.

Feedback can be tricky to give and receive, but it's invaluable to any writer no matter their experience or skill. It was very encouraging to see many new writers presenting good-spirited feedback on drafts across GI, especially given the unusually competitive atmosphere.
Well done, colleagues.

Sedgistan wrote:We compiled an initial shortlist of just under 50 issues. We're in the process of doing a more thorough review of those, which takes more time as we want as many Editors as possible to take part in that, and some members have limited time available to do this. We're hoping to have that stage done by the end of next week. The next step would then be to put together the winning "Top 10" and also contact any people we might want to trial as potential Editors.

My bad. What I meant to ask was have we passed the submission date? I don't wanna submit. I'm just curious. Thanks for the info though. It was quite interesting
