Welfare Payments Responsible for Mafia Rampage
A recent report in the @@CAPITAL@@ Post revealed that Tykes for Tots, a charity organization based in the province of @@ANIMAL@@ton devoted to donating toys to impoverished local children, and which received a large sum in the last round of welfare payments, was actually a front for the Pozzis, a powerful organized crime family in the region, whose last crime spree took 12 lives.
OPTION 1
@@RANDOMNAMEMALE@@, the brawny and grizzled local Chief of Police wanders into your office, his hand perched on his holstered pistol in constant paranoia. “Sir,” he says, staring suspiciously at a nearby plant, “crime syndicates like the Pozzis’ cannot be allowed to operate. Their last mob war with the Marteli Family took ten of my best men, and the Mayor’s too much of a coward to do anything. Put that welfare money into my office and I’ll stop this carnage.”
Citizens of @@ANIMAL@@ton fear their all-powerful Police Force more than they ever did the Mob.
OPTION 2
“Clearly the problem is in the payments themselves.” Says @@RANDOMNAME@@, your Chief Economic Advisor, crunching numbers into a calculator. “Not only is it a stress on our already-hurting free market, but the lack of government insight on where our tax dollars are going is a problem as well. End welfare payments to these so-called ‘charities’ and take the government out of the equation entirely.”
Impoverished crime families and charity organizations alike are stripped of their welfare payments.
OPTION 3
The recently re-elected Mayor of @@ANIMAL@@ton, @@RANDOMNAME@@, who has long been suspected of being in the pockets of the Pozzis himself, strides into your office, wads of cash protruding from @@HIS@@ pockets. “This conversation is ridiculous!” @@HE@@ says, ripping up the @@CAPITAL@@ Post report and throwing its shreds onto the floor. “I’ve personally met with the leaders of Tots for Tykes, and they are good people! Stop intervening in my dear @@ANIMAL@@ton and give my city the autonomy it deserves!”
Local community and federal governments are united on the principle of doing nothing about organized crime.
OPTION 4
“I can’t believe this is allowed to continue!” Yells @@RANDOMNAME@@,the investigative reporter who infiltrated the Pozzis’ underground crime ring in the first place, popping out from an unnoteworthy plant in your office wearing full green camouflage. “Just give me enough money to hire a crack team of investigative journalists, send me back to @@ANIMAL@@ton, and we’ll have the Pozzis snuffed out in no time.”
Citizens of @@ANIMAL@@ton wonder whether their new neighbors are actually investigative journalists.
OPTION 5
“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.” Says an unidentified man wearing a black and white suit who snuck into your office during your lunch break. “The Pozzis are not bad people, as you must know, @@LEADER@@.” He pulls from his pocket a wad of hard cash, and begins counting it silently in front of you. “Plus, being friends with our organization has certain… benefits.”
Citizens are concerned about @@LEADER@@’s regular meetings with shady people in dark alleys.
