[title] Apartments On Vacation

[Issue]A scandal broke out when a landlord in @@CAPITAL@@ rented a whole building on EarthBnB, an internet-based popular brokage service hospitality on an individual basis, out for tourists. Circumventing any housing regulation.

[option 1] "There is a very good reason why those regulations are in place" explains @@RANDOMNAME@@, mayor of @@CAPITAL@@ staring at the renting prices for the apartments on EarthBnB. "Tourists do pay more for renting an apartment out in comparison to the average @@DENONYM@@ middle class. We need to obligate the services to cooperate with local governments."
[resolution] sleepovers need to be approved by the government

[option 2] "And this is supposed to be bad?" questions @@RANDOMNAME@@ a major landlord in @@CAPITAL@@. "It is indeed the case that tourists are leaving more money behind as regular tenants. And this is great for the @@DENONYM@@ economy. Tourists will not only pay a large sum of money for their stay, but they also will consume more local products. We should encourage this and deregulate housing regulation"
[resolution] the average commute to the city can take hours

[option 3] "This attitude shows exactly why landlords are leeches feasting on the helpless working @@DENONYM@@." preaches @@RANDOMNAME@@, leader of the @@DENONYM@@ Socialist Party. "They will always seek to make quick money from a basic necessity. The best way to prevent a situation like this to ever occur again is to nationalize the housing market."
[resolution] housing communes have replaced landlords

So he broke EarthBnB's terms of service? He broke the law? What's the problem? Can't EarthBnB punish him? Unless, of coarse, Earth BnB are like Google and don't give a shit aboutt the law

There has to be some kind of inciting incident here; at the moment it is just some landlord used the NS airbnb and thus... scandal? At least have those tourists misbehave in some way so that it could plausibly hit the news. :p

Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.
