In NS issues, according to precedent, the disease mentioned is probably called ''VODAIS' instead.

Hi and thanks for commenting!
I've searched the "Got Issues?" forum for posts from Sanctaria, but only found one, unrelated post.
Maybe his contribution was withdrawn?
I'd be grateful if you could give more precise instructions on how to find the similar issue. Ideally, a link.
Best regards,
Rolly

It's backstage. Might be something that was submitted without drafting on the forum.

Look, suppose (Name) were involved in an auto accident and needed a transfusion. Would he rather the transfusion were carried out by a blood bank that makes an effort to screen out high risk individuals, or would he rather play Maxtopian roulette with an incurable disease?"

I'm told there may be a similar proposal, to which I am denied access.
Does that make this a dead letter?

It's possible that the other draft will get bogged down, or we'll decide we like yours better, or something like that. But there's a significant chance of your draft being rendered redundant and deleted for overlap, and I thought I should warn you about that.
I'd probably put this on hold.

(option) "It's neither fair nor reasonable. But I'm not a category! I'm an individual and i want to be treated like one. I've been healthy my entire life. Please let me make my humble contribution to society by donating blood."
(effect) Blood shortages are a thing of the past, as withdrawals have gone way down, while donations have gone up.
(option) "I regret (Name's) hurt feelings", begins Tom Mice, your Minister of Public Health, " but the truth is that gay men are more than 40 times as likely as their hetero counterparts to be carrying VODAIS, not to mention bad breath. (effect) People feel righteous about their prejudices, now that they have been institutionalised by respected organisations.
(option) "(NAME) is right. If we begin excluding people based on categories, where do we stop?" objects Martin Luther Gandhi. "Why not refuse housing to Maxtopian families because people say they like loud parties, or refuse to hire Brancalandians because they are said to be lazy. I insist that blood banks be made to accept all volunteers; drug addicts, homeless people, lepers, people with sexually transmitted diseases, whatever, unless the blood bank can demonstrate beyond doubt that their blood is infected."
(effect) People bleed to death rather than taking a chance by visiting the blood blank.
