Typo in "the magics gone"

I noticed a typo in 'the magics gone' issue by not adding a c to the end of magic, ill copy paste and bold the word misspelled.

The government’s stance endorsing the practice of magic and sorcery has always raised some eyebrows amongst world leaders. Now it seems that spells that ought to work are not giving repeatable results, and sometimes don’t seem to do anything at all. A cabal of five magi have come to advise you on the reasons for these sorcerous failings.

also my spell check is saying sorcerous isn't and it isnt in a dictionary.

My browser's spell-checker doesn't like "sorcerous" either, but I guess our browsers are just not into fantasy. Browsers are like that sometimes. Mine also does not like "ethnicities" or "libertarianism."

Yeah but I looked in the Apple dictionary, and google dictionary for sorcerous and they weren’t there.

It's not a real dictionary unless it includes "antidisestablishmentarianism".

Also, if we're talking about what is and isn't a typo, I'm surprised nobody has pointed out the typo in the thread title yet.

Anyway, magi and sorcerous are real words.

Multiple dictionaries, including Merriam-Webster, Oxford and Google all tell us magi is the plural of magus. Magus meanwhile is:

1a : a member of a hereditary priestly class among the ancient Medes and Persians
b often capitalized : one of the traditionally three wise men from the East paying homage to the infant Jesus
2 : MAGICIAN, SORCERER

Sorcerous, likewise, appears in Merriam-Webster, Oxford, Cambridge, Collins and so on. Honestly I'm having trouble finding a dictionary where these words AREN'T appearing?

Are you perhaps using some sort of printed school dictionary designed for students? Serious question, as those are probably amongst the most common sorts of dictionaries in circulation, and a lot of people don't realise they're not exhaustive.
