After a feature-length documentary Made in @@NAME@@ was released on @@NAME@@'s agricultural industry, the previously unknown issue of food waste is in an intense debate in @@CAPITAL@@. A coalition of volunteers and ecologists have stormed into your office demanding this issue be brought out of the trash and into the spotlight.

2 "These people are looking at this problem from the wrong angle," says your aide while rifling through your fridge and retrieving a carton of eggs. It takes so much energy to make the food we eat and even more to transport it while we still get rid of misshapen food. We need to let growers promote product sustainability while also helping to reduce the carbon footprint. To do this we should provide pamphlets to farms across @@NAME@@ and enforce mandatory checks to see if the uphold our standards."

Note from author: I know that there are a lot of response issues to signing the climate treaty but I wanted to write an issue about food waste and I thought the treaty would be a good outlet to tell this story. If any of you have any ideas for a different setting then I will consider your proposal.
