Are there any non-tropical cyclones outside of the Continguous USA? I think Brisbane might get some, but am not sure. Nevertheless, the USA is massive, so okay

yea, I deliberately interchanged the words cyclone, hurricane, and typhoon, as they only difference between them is the direction which they spin, and the region where they are used. This way, there are less assumptions
