That said, I have exclusive (and some inclusive) rights to Copiluaca.

Nothing personal, just business.

please don't take me seriously

Damn, after nearly 1,300 issues, I'm still the only player to have an NPC named after me. It just goes to show you kids, the best way to be famous is by doing something stupid but memorable. Anyways, wow there's been a lot of new countries added since I last checked
RE: Potential Cancellation of Tokyo Olympics. The only reason why countries bid to host the Olympics is for tourism. This is why countries are planning on boycotting the Beijing winter Olympics. By cancelling the 2020/21 Olympics, Japan is defacto recieving the same punishment as China, Japan did nothing wrong since World War II
Until if and when the Spanish language evolves to allow for gender-neutrality to not be totally, utterly and completely impossible, (which will take at least centuries), the concept of "LatinX" is completely ridiculous

I haven't actually encountered the MADness chain yet, but it's interesting that Rushev got solidified as the Chairman of East Lebatuck in it. I believe Rushev's first appearance was in my issue, #1325 (though that name is the editor's doing, rather than mine).

Welp, not only do they resort to bribery to host international sporting competitions, but they also own your country's biggest football teams! Quite sneaky from them.

Yes, it's common for us editors to borrow names from elsewhere that we liked. Since chains take so long to edit, certain names can appear early within other issues.

So it's not a country, but I see a lot of issues referencing "VODAIS". It's obviously a parallel to HIV, but what does it actually stand for?

Also, Prudenlund is very likely representing Denmark.

[*] Denmark has many islands and coasts, and throughout history has been a major naval power.
[*] Denmark was famous for the "Sound Toll", in which every ship passing into or out of the Baltic Sea had to stop in Denmark and pay a toll. The first situation we see Prudenlund is when our ships stop in their ports.
[*] "Lund" is a common place name ending in all of Scandinavia, but the one major city named "Lund", though it is now in Sweden, has historically been a major port in the mainland Scandinavian part of Denmark until about 1700.

My nation - which is pretty much just a unified Korea with some extra territory - represents my real views, as does pretty much anything I say on the forums. NS stats only broadly representative. Feel free to call me Q&K or Quartia. Member of LITA

Many thanks for that, QuaKar! (I couldn't resist sorry)

I've added a small note about that to Prudenlund, as well as a note about Maxtopia likely being an ancient civilization, given it used to use hieroglyphs. (I'm guessing probably Egypt given other elements but I don't want to jump to conclusions.)

Also updated the list from issues 1431 to 1451. Added 9 instances of nations appearing in an issue (each time a one-nation occurance!). :D

I've always seen Maxtopia as a hybrid of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
