Looking for new mod nominations!

As has been strongly hinted at around the Gameplay forum in the past couple of weeks, we're looking to find some tragically doomed redshirts to throw to the hordes likely candidates for new forum mods. With Blaat's resignation, and several members of the team presently getting their butts kicked by adulting out in that weird IRL place, certain sections of the site are getting a bit thin on mod coverage. Rather than wait until it becomes a major issue, the thought is "Y'know, we should start training up a new batch of forum mods sooner rather than later, especially knowing how long it takes us to vet candidates."

Particular areas of focus we're especially interested in are Gameplay, the World Assembly, and Forum 7. However, if you want to nominate someone outside of those areas of focus (for instance NSG or the roleplaying boards), please do so; while there are areas of expertise we would like, a solid mod candidate is still a solid mod candidate! Though we can't give a concrete number of new mods we're looking to add to the team at this time (depends on the number of qualified candidates we dig up!), ideally we're looking for 2-3, possibly more if we find enough suitable unfortunate victims candidates.

It is also recommended you check with your candidate before you send in a nomination: there are plenty of people who tend to get nominations who do not want the job. It saves everybody a lot of time and hassle to confirm the "Thanks, but DO NOT WANT!" before we spend a boatload of effort vetting somebody! (Alternatively, if you suspect or know people are going to drop your name and you're not interested, you can also send an email to the nomination address to let us know that you don't want to be considered for the position.)
