Okay everything should be sorted now. I couldn't find the two spaces being referenced in the second to last correction. I decided the dinosaur thing was worth making a second option for and I made communist communications option, which I didn't feel like too much needed to be changed for.

In my next draft I'm just going to hyphenate everything and you can tell me where I should have spaces :p

Thanks for pointing out askew versus eschew, although I knew both words, I probably couldn't have told you they were spelled differently. It's probably a mistake I've consistently made in the past and will be aware of in the future. I really appreciate all the minutia of writing I'm learning, it's actually really helping my writing IRL too. I was going over a manuscript I first wrote a couple months ago and I found quite a few mistakes and areas for more concise writing that I have to imagine is a result of this. Who knew a silly game could be so useful.

Further thoughts on this?

It's between "entire" and "@@DEMONYMADJECTIVEINITIALS@@ASA". It's only visible when you're editing, because HTML normally ignores extra spaces anyway.

(It applies to both versions of that option, now.)

I don't know about you, but I also pronounce them differently. Still similar, though.

You still need to correct this to "hyperspectral".
Ransium wrote:hyperspecteral
Argh.

Trotterdam wrote:

Should be "stylishly-dressed".
You appear to have added the hyphen but forgot the "ly".

(Again, this applies to both versions of that option now.)

Also, both versions are missing the closing quote at the end.

Ransium wrote:what a peoples united can achieve
Okay, "people" is normally already plural, but there are contexts in which it can be used as a singular, and has its own plural. However, using "a" with a word that's doubly pluralized? Really?

Sorry, I meant "change that to 'a people united'".

Ransium wrote:There playing you for a sucker, I tell ya!
That should be "they're".

Did I really miss that before?

Now this is great! I would love to receive this issue! :)

Sorry to bring up the military-in-space thing (as it's not something I'd be happy with) again (from another thread of yours), but there should be a general who proposes handing control of the @@DEMONYMADJECTIVEINITIALS@@ASA to the army for focusing spy satellites and the development of orbital weapons. This might be a more Earth-centric rehash of the asteroid hunter thing, but why not?

Okay hopefully it is now truly sorted. You have no idea how funny the hyperspectral thing is to me, since this is very much related to what I actually do, and being able to reference it was major impetus for writing this issue in the first place. We don't use the term hyperspectral though, we say imaging spectroscopy to be consistent with other uses of spectroscopy, but I figured it would sound cooler here.

One thing though the double space was in the last option so it has no pair. Right? You're making me nervous...

Volitopia, not every space issue needs a military option. I think considering this is a pretty long 5 choice option as is, I sincerely doubt 6 options would ever make it. Since pretty much every choice here (besides 5) is fresh, I can't imagine a military option wouldn't be cut. I'll consider it in the other space draft though...

I guess after correcting so many mistakes I was bound to make one of my own...

You're a bad influence! Yeah, that's the story I'm sticking with.

I believe you may need a "Phones not banned" validity for the two communication satellite options.

I didn't realize phones could be banned? For my own sake of understanding the canon completely, what issue bans cell phones ENTIRELY? #180 doesn't ban them entirely...

#180 option 1 used to do this before a major rewrite to the issue (effect line: "it is illegal to own a mobile phone"), but now it's been changed to a rather cheesy what-do-you-think-this-will-accomplish one-hour break (effect line: "sheepish teenagers are making eye contact with their parents for the first time in a decade during state-enforced 'no-phones hour'"). I think you're right that mobile phones aren't bannable anymore.

...Let alone landline phones (some people still use those).

You can ban the internet, though.

I don't know why I wouldn't think of that the internet is banned in Ransium... Added the validity.
