Of course, if.

More importantly, I'd need to figure out which positions to resign in which regions.

Not to mention figuring out who inherits the spoiler thread and all the mod work associated with converting the posts.

I feel I could have done better with my submission, but I've seen some of the more terrible lacking drafts and I feel I may have an "ok" chance. Good luck guys!

It's likely our anxiety is taking over, I also feel that way, but we did the best we could and put all our effort into it, that's what matters to me

I don't have anything to do tomorrow (MLK Day), so I suppose I'll update that thread tonight . . .

There's no conflict. I could do both. I'd just scale back my involvement in regional politics.

It looks like there's been a bit of discussion, but nothing definitely settled. You'll have to be patient.

Any word on this yet or still in discussion

Agreed that everyone who submitted an issue needs to be patient once the contest is closed. Pestering editors and mods about your issue isn't going to win you any favors.

Naa, seriously, there are a lot of issues submitted in this contest that could never be considered winners. Indeed, a good number of them suggest serious psychological problems.

Ummm... I was kind of operating under the assumption that if those weren't required, they would at least be considered assets...

Did the issue contest end? Who was chosen to be an editor?

Yes, the deadline for contest submissions just ended today. Winners of the contest haven't been announced yet, I'm assuming the editing team is gonna start judging entries soon (if they already haven't begun). It's best to be patient as of now

I would not want to be an I.E. right now, having to go through all those submissions.

According to Sedgistan they received 400-500 contest submissions, so judging could take awhile.
