Vat's Food For Thought help!

After two and a half years of hard work, I finally got the vat issue. Can anybody please inform me on how option 5, turning people into vat people, affects my stats. That is the option I want to go with, but want to know if there are any negative stats. Thank you for any help and just saying to pick it and find out is not helpful advice.

My guess is lowered civil rights, since you're sterilizing everyone, forbidding them to repdroduce naturally.

Yeah, more people should be seeing that issue. Made some changes to open it up to a lot more nations.

Lenyo makes a habit of checking the response rates of issues to see which ones aren't getting much visibility. I made some slight changes to the text so we could open it up to way more nations.

When dismissal rates are over 40% I am sad, so in order to improve #279's dismissal rate we had to let more nations get #123. Now #279's dismissal rate is half what it used to be, so I am happy.

That was mostly because like 2-5 people a week got #279 before.

Don't know if you're willing to answer this, and if not, no sweat, but do you have to answer #123 a certain way (aside from option 4, of course) to get #279?

#279 is only if you're growing people in vats, so it requires you to answer option 5 on #123. (Or, well, it was option 5 before the change. It probably still is.)

Bump

I just received issue #123, and I'm running a nation that s focusing primarily on scientific advancement and technology, but in a free society with high civil-rights and freedoms. I'm tempted to hit option #5, for the vats, but I'm still a bit sketched out by it. Is there any way to recover from the issue in the future to restore civil-rights without causing primitiveness?

Or should I just play it safe with option #1?

#279 option 1 will probably help affirm your commitment to civil rights despite using vats, but I don't know how far that goes.
