use the BBCode image tags

when you post a reply, look at the buttons you have ontop of the text entry box for the button Img
when you press it you shoud see this
[img].[/img] (ignore the period, it not required)
then put the image url in the middle like this
[img]Example[/img]

Upload the file to an image hosting site (e.g. Imageshack, photobucket, etc.) then follow the steps listed above.
