There is no such thing as plausible, NationStates is not meant to be realistic. Just answer your issues depending on which option sounds the best for your nation.
Chief Justice of the South Pacific Delegate of the South Pacific (Apr - Dec 2014)
1. Do not choose options that kill massive amounts of people. I know real nations do commit genocide and other mass killings but those nations are frowned upon and usually destroyed by other nations.
2. Do not make all your government spending on defense or religion. As much as that seems realistic in some real life nations, those governments still have other spending priorities.
3. Do not ban technology or industry. Regardless of political or economic alignment, a country needs to be moderately up to date with technology and industry in order to seem realistic. (Data transfer by carrier pigeon [yes that is an issue] is not the solution.)
The resulting statements will be ludicrous sounding because NationStates is designed that way. But those decisions will make the national statistics more believable.
The chances are your opinion, as well as mine, includes "I don't care" somewhere in it.
