I believe issues for your designated time period, ( which you would pick during your nations creation) would be a good Idea.
I know quite a few nations RP as FT,PMT and PT, yet they really don't have to many issues that are designed for them. EG, an issue about gun control really doesn't suit a nations RPing has a medieval tech nation.

While it might ake a while to implement I think it would be a good idea.

I think that this would be a good idea. I'm often at loss to which I should role play as generally.

Not a bad idea. I could possibly even come up with issues for PT (abolish or keep slavery, decide how to deal with bubonic plague, etc.).
Magic-using nation here! I don't RP in MT.

If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.

I totally agree. It has to make some sense.
I even suggest nations should have the option, if and when they feel and choose so, to submit their own issues.

You need to have a population of at least 500 million, which takes about 3 months to attain...

This figure is IMHO ridiculously high.
How many actual countries are there with this high a population figure ?
Australia has only about 18 million, I think. Isn't Australia a full-fledged nation ?

Back when Max originally created this game, and wrote the bit of code that determines the rate of population growth, he apparently didn't expect the game to last for more than a few months...

Yeah, but it's based on Jennifer Government, with huge multinationals and PMT multi-billion pop. nations.

Negative. We are 23 million. We are a full-fledged nation. We just don't have a large population. But it's booming with all the asians comeing in on their rafts and fishing boats.

Even a country with 10 million (Belgium has 10 million) is a full-fledged nation.

I run Bears Armed as having only 18-19 million, regardless of what the game says: apart from anything else, that's about all that would fit comfortably into my share of our region's map...
