I'm pretty sure that's not an issue.

I'm more curious if "moo" still counts when it's part of a larger word line "moon". I suspect it does, but haven't kept testing extensively enough to confirm it.

More questions about the alien/pizza Easter Egg:

Is it only triggered if you have the aforementioned bovine-related custom fields, AND you have a large pizza industry? Or is just having the custom fields enough?

Because I've had the word "moo" in my motto for over a month now, and still, no Easter Egg has occurred.

Random chance. It could happen today, or it could take ten years. No way of knowing.

I'd rather not get into the habit of checking this, but:
77, 78, 215, 430

Hello I have a problem with my main nation Adamo. For some reason I answered 2 easter eggs but it still stuck at 6?
15 hours ago: Following new legislation in Adamo, over-inflated fears of a "Y1" bug have turned humble IT workers into millionaires (Adamo has found 6 easter eggs).
1 day 15 hours ago: Adamo changed its national nation type to "Zombie Golden Empire".
1 day 15 hours ago: Adamo changed its national animal to "Mink".
1 day 15 hours ago: Following new legislation in Adamo, Asura Emperor bores party-goers with healthy tips and sugar-free snacks (Adamo has found 6 easter eggs).

Also if is not that much of a problem can I know which I answered, because I can't remember if i answered the colour one or not.

When you answer another easter egg, the old effect lines are retroactively updated.

The "sugar-free snacks" line was your 5th easter egg when you answered it, and would almost certainly have said so, but the actual text is generated when you look at the page, so it's displayed according to what your count is now.

I've been scanning for a while, and I've seen some nations get the easter egg without having a great pizza industry, but it's usually still in the top 50%, or close to it. So there might be a pizza industry requirement, but it only needs to be decent, not great. Yours, which is the 517th-worst in the world, might be a problem.

And since then, with varying amounts of time (from only a few days after rising, to months), all my nations have received it...

except this one.

I don't know why this is, or what this will tell you, but I hope this info helps.

This zombie easter egg still driving me crazy. This nation ceased to exist for a few months and when I came back, was hoping I'd get that issue. Still no luck. :/ There's no other necessary requirement for this one, is there?

There was a theory a while back that if you put "zombie" in your pretitle or something you would get the issue eventually, but then the Halloween Masquerade easter egg came along so that was crossed out. So far as we know, restoring your nation is the only surefire thing.

Unless it has something to do with the death rate, just like the pizza industry one...

I've had moo in my motto and Cow as my animal for a few months now. Nothing. I'm starting to think you don't have to be near the top 50% of pizza to get the issue, just so long as it's above 0, or if it's listed among your exports but it doesn't have to be THE top.

Changing my animal to cow and putting "moo cows" in my motto gave it to me within the week. I have pretty low pizza delivery and it's not in my export list.

>"pretty low"
>17% in the world

Unless you had a puppet you tried it out on?

But still, I was thinking more like a solid number instead of WA rankings, like a minimum of 2,000 Pepperoni Propulsion, or even some random/meme number like 1,337 or 800.8 or something. The issue has to do with aliens so I wouldn't be surprised if the number was a Star Trek reference, pop culture references are made all the time in normal issues.

Could be a coincidence, but I just hit "Suburbs are out of this World" within a week after adding "galaxy" to my motto. My crime and space program qualifications should have been acceptable long ago, but it's also possible that an uptick in crime rate 2 weeks ago may have helped, as it pushed me into the top 1% for the first time.

I'm going to enable tracking and see what I can find. It probably recognizes a bunch of space-related terms, though.

I just saw that easter egg on Freilandenein, which has no space-related custom fields that I can discern and hasn't recently changed any of its fields.

EDIT: And now, New Capitalist Venice. Also no obvious space-related custom fields, unless "world" counts, which it might.

I have 6 puppets with this Easter Egg, none of which had, at the time of the award, any space-related fields.

With regard to the Egg that Freilandenein has, it was the first Egg and had the following statement "Crime, especially youth-related, is a major problem, probably because of the absence of a police force". In a similar vein, New Capitalist Venice, after its Easter Egg award reads: "Crime, especially youth-related, is all-pervasive, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate".

So, the common element seems to be having a major/all-pervasive youth-related crime problem. Both, maybe by coincidence, were awarded the Egg as their FIRST... interesting?

New theory. Average disposable income may be involved. Both of the people you showed are in the top 5% and it also procced for Maverique (who is me) within two weeks of dismantling his oppressive taxes. He entered the top 1% when it happened and previously hadn't even been top 10.

That score didn't even exist yet when the issue was added.

The Youth Rebelliousness ranking means youth crime, right? I'm top of the world and have never gotten the suburbs issue, so it seems likely that the "Crime is pervasive" statements are indeed required, maybe not directly, but as an indicator that your crime has reached the threshold to unlock the issue.

Crime is a different stat that youth rebelliousness.

Easter Egg Issue #430 - Please, Sir, We Want Some More Issue

Recently, I have become quite heavily involved in NS Trading Cards and playing the maximum time available to answer issues to obtain the packs of cards.

I seem to have come across an interesting phenomenon with Daily Issue #430 - Please Sir, We Want Some More Issues. I had 6 of my 70 puppet nations all receiving this Easter Egg issue within 3 days of each other and at first it appeared as if the receipt was related to having at least answered 250 or 300 Daily Issues, But that parameter seems a little too vague to be a single trigger so I looked for another possibility. Then it struck me... they all had the Issues Setting at "No throttle! Maybe this is the other factor involved?

A reminder to everyone now that it's getting close to Christmas time...aim for your Christmas easter egg!! I just got issue 471 with my various Christmas/Santa related fields...:) Not sure which exactly did it, but it was either my motto("Santa Baby"), pre-title("Christmas Glory") or animal("reindeer").

Now only 3 more easter eggs to go!!

So just to confirm once and for all that pizza industry does not count for this issue (#80), just now received this easter egg even though this puppet's pizza industry was quite low (778 prior to answering issue 80). Having "cow" as my animal did the trick. Wish I had known this a long time ago... It did take about a month or so to trigger though, so patience may be required (as with all easter eggs...)

Just received the Christmas issue after changing my animal to "reindeer" and pretitle to "christmas republic". I also got #266 (Breaking the fourth wall) by changing my motto to "nationstates".

I got christmas with “festive” in my title, ho ho ho as my motto, santa claus as my leader, candy cane as my currency, and reindeer as my animal. I also got it pretty quickly, so maybe the speed that you get it at is related to how christmas themed your nation is.

I got #80 in one of my card farms w/out cow or moo in any fields, top 67% pizza delivery, top 85% recreational drug use, and top 86% scientific advancement.
