I just received the Pony issue for the second time.

I've kept track of every issue I've ever received, and I already have this one.

Is that a thing that happens?

It shouldn't be. But I'm inclined to believe you because you have 10 Easter Egg flags, yet your badge gameside says you've found 11.

Ugh. Looked it over and found the mistake. Fixed the issue and your gameside badge.

I think I may have the same bug? I was recently helped with finding the Easter Eggs I've answered, but despite my helper only finding 8 issues answered, my game badge lists me at 9. Is this a similar problem or am I in a different boat here?

Almost certainly. I might need to enlist an admin to see if there is a better way to find people who were affected. I'll fix your gameside tag now though.

I got the pull the level issue by having holy in my pretitle, I had 1.8 billion people as well.

I got issue 256 'Suburbs are out of this world' by having a crime rate of 16.26. So I assume 16.00 is the rate that you need to get the issue.

After almost 6 years of playing NS, during which time I have diligently searched for Easter Eggs, I have finally laid my eyes on this one, my 13th and I think the last one! It was on one of my 56 puppets that have been around for various amounts of time. The lucky nation is relatively new at a population of 2 billion and there seems to be nothing even slightly obvious that triggers the issue. Have tried the likely ones based on the result of my Option 1 selection, namely, very high or low Pizza Delivery and Cheese Exports, but to no avail.

Out of interest, how many times has this Easter Egg been sighted, or how often does it appear? Anybody willing to talk about this please contact me direct if that would be more appropriate. I understand the reasons that Admins are not keen on publicly outing this type of information, but any tid-bit would be of great comfort to me!

Wait, there's 13!?! I have 9, and I know I'm missing at least 2, but didn't think I was missing 4. Ugh.

Also - #80 is one I haven't yet hit and have no idea how to hit. I've also been raising my Pizza Industry industriously for the past year...no luck yet. If you find anything out, let me know?

Also also - since you're so experienced...#223 - how did you get that? I was gone for a few months and had to revive my account and was hoping that would do it. But...nothing.

This was the result for my Option 2 selection: "Alien kidnappings of both cattle and humans are headline news on the most respected papers." The 2 common element between your nation and my recipient nation was that they both had "Cow" as their national animal (Revere a land animal banner?) and it was the first Easter Egg they had found. Nothing to do with Pizza Delivery or Cheese Exports for this option then? But for Option 1, maybe where it talks about "Take us to your kneader"?

Can you remember which Option you chose?

I chose option 1, and I got a cool banner.

Fascinating. I'm looking at your stats now(admittedly a few days later, but hoping they haven't changed much since).

Right now your top four industries are as follows:

Gambling, indexed at 19,207.77
Retail, indexed at 14,023.88
Pizza, indexed at 7,971.75
IT, indexed at 7,571.83

My suspicion now is that Pizza Industry needs to be one of those "top four", which will display in your nation description text, e.g., "The frighteningly efficient Super Knifean economy, worth 157 trillion Bronze Knives a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Retail, Pizza Delivery, and Information Technology."

I'm guessing then it's not the absolute value of the industry that matters, but its ranking in your industries. Because for example, if I look at my stats...here are my top industries:

Tourism, 2,290.07 travelers (not sure how this is "indexed", but it is my top industry apparently)
IT, indexed at 71,409.11
Retail, indexed at 41,395.41
Book Publishing, indexed at 35,805.81
Gambling, indexed at 11,123.89
Pizza Delivery, indexed at 8,798.75

So I have a higher absolute Pizza Delivery index than you do, yet I haven't triggered issue #80. My hypothesis is that I would need to work on a combination of driving down the industries higher than Pizza Delivery while raising Pizza Delivery into that "top four". A challenge for me. Here's my current nation description text..."The frighteningly efficient Land Without Shrimpian economy, worth a remarkable 1,972 trillion kittens a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is fairly diversified and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Retail, and Book Publishing." Sadly no Pizza Delivery to be found...

Speaking of which, it turns out that having "moo" in your national motto also does the trick.

Can confirm this! Isn't it crazy how long it took to find such a simple qualifier?

Seems to be well standing, as Bormiar Card Farm 1 also got it after having "cow" in the motto.

I gotta thank you all for your help with this one (Issue #80). After making "Cow" my animal and putting both "Moo" & "cow" in my motto...finally nabbed this Easter Egg. ...of course, now my pizza industry is absurdly large for no good reason, haha. Oops?

Having previously said that I have found 13 Easter Eggs, according to my game tag, I am doubting that I have actually 'seen' all of them as I did not keep good notes in my early hunting efforts of 5 years ago The one I am not confident about is Zombie Attack! Issue #223. I have good notes that 5 of my puppets have this one, but not for my main nation. I had asked previously about this and am still not 100% sure where I stand.

Hey, thanks! The pizza issue does work. I've been waiting months to get that easter egg, but after trying it out, it does indeed work.

1. Do you have to have EITHER a cow as your national animal OR 'moo' in your motto, or both?
2. If only having 'moo' in your motto is sufficient, can it be in caps or quotations?

Also, Mediobogdum, I've spoken to you about the zombie issue before, and it has only gotten more confusing since then. Around 10 months ago, ALL my nations (Aguaria Major as well as Lavendoria, Every Name I Tried Was Already Taken, and Nation of Beefheart ceased to exist at the same time. And since then, with varying amounts of time (from only a few days after rising, to months), all my nations have received it...

except this one.

I don't know why this is, or what this will tell you, but I hope this info helps.

More questions about the alien/pizza Easter Egg:

Is it only triggered if you have the aforementioned bovine-related custom fields, AND you have a large pizza industry? Or is just having the custom fields enough?

Because I've had the word "moo" in my motto for over a month now, and still, no Easter Egg has occurred.
