For flat earthers I don't think we have an issue for it yet, & vigilantes I believe is already a taken topic. Cryogenic preservation, you could try.

A bit American, but we would like issue #911 to be about emergency dispatch/emergency call centers. Let's tenatively have this competition open for a month and a half (so get your issues in by November 24th) although I may extend it further depending on the quality of submissions and how quickly we add issues. So get writing!

Edit: you're welcome to draft and submit it like a normal issue, just put (Issue #911) or something similar in the title so it gets my attention.

Well, we've slowed down our pace of adding issues a bit, but I'd just like to point out that we should wrap this up. If you could get your 911 issues in the next couple weeks it would be appreciated.

We have several issues about vigilantes, don’t think we need more on that subject

The cryonic one is the best of the three ideas. Make sure you give it plenty of time in the drafting process. I think your metal detector issue might have benefitted from a longer drafting process if you'd given it more time before submitting.

Has my metal detector issue been rejected? If so I can make further edits to it so that it's higher quality then submit it again. But aside from that I will be sure to put more time and effort on all my future drafts including the cryonic and flat earth ones I'm working on now. I also have a few other ideas I'll be sharing with y'all here.

819 is about cryogenics.

Note that my take on the subject was that "cryogenics yes or no?" was far too boring, and that it needed another element to make it worthwhile. If you approach the topic, I suggest the same philosophy.

Got it. My issue will also have a option that bans cryonics, so does your issue have a "must not have banned cryonics" validity?

That validity wouldn't be there if there are no existing issues that ban cryonics, but it can be added as a update if needed. In other words, don't worry about it. Let the editors sort it out.

We don't normally say, but as it's you...

Activations: 48 117 337 748 771
Deactivations: 110 152 192 203 217 461

217 is the most narratively direct reversal, of course.

The definition in use is "universal state-funded healthcare to citizens, free at the point of delivery."

This would actually be a problem, come to think of it. From what I recall, the rule for Ramadan is that you're not allowed to eat during the daytime, and you compensate by having a lavish feast each night (because no human being can actually survive eating nothing at all for forty days and nights straight. that would be silly). That leads to obvious problems if the sun never sets all Ramadan long.

However, this is way too specific an issue, and makes too many assumptions, to be worthy of @@LEADER@@'s attention. Even for actual Muslims this is a fringe issue that very rarely comes up, though I'm sure they've invented some answer or another... here we go.

It's perhaps not unsurprising that the common western view of Muslim religious observance is that it's didactic and strict, but actually there's a lot of provisions for practicality in Islam. Menstruation, illness, journeys, perhaps old age, children, and so on... some of it is clear cut, some of it down to interpretation. In many ways, Islam is considerably more flexible than Christianity, in theory at least.

What does the game consider body modification to be? Is it the same as the wiki article or does it include regular surgery as well?

I think it only includes surgery for cosmetic (or at least non-medical, like religious obligation) purposes, although one effect line (as a comical exaggeration typical of NS) suggests that appendectomies count. I'm not sure if the editors consider sex changes to count, since there are separate issues about those.
