How could, and why would, one mess with the "United Nations" being that it does not exist in this game? Image

Would it be possible for the same name to randomly appear for both PRO and CON?
Economic Left/Right: -7.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -7.38
Numbers written with an apostrophe are in dozenal unless otherwise noted.
For example, 0'3 = 0.25, and 100' = 144.

Ratios are measured in perunums instead of percent.
1 perunum = 100 percent = 84' percent

I've designed some new macros for issue writers to use - they're a little more complicated than other ones so keep that in mind when writing. You can learn more by reading the third part of the issue writing guide.

So, did you edit those back in where you had removed them earlier?

Does this mean some of the currently excisting issues will be adapted to include the new macros as well?

Like for example issue n° 222: "Terrorists Strike City Centre" could now include the capital-macro..
The Issue
All of @@NATION@@ has been in an uproar since yesterday when a car exploded in the middle of the capital city, killing dozens and injuring hundreds. This terrorist act was traced back to a violent minority group known as the Lilliputian Freedom Fighters. A group allegedly supported by an unfriendly regime, despising @@NATION@@ for its heathenish ways and political bent, but more particularly for supporting the recent occupation of their homeland by an ally.

That's my intention, yes. If there are any outstanding errors with issues that need addressed while I'm making all the retrospective edits, let me know.

Wasn't there an @@NAMEINITIAL@@ macro, which displayed the initials of a nation?
Or am I going insane? :p

The issues are not really the problem it is the dumbass debate options you have to choose from. It doesn't give you a free range of choice so no wonder you got some f---ed up nations and I never wanted a Corporate Bordello....WTF is that anyway?!

It means that the politicians have sold themselves to big business.

Even though it is briefly talked about, I am still unsure on how to go about writing stats for issues. Could you please expand upon it a bit more?

Are there not separate macros for the plural of the animal and currency?
I'm often seeing issues about all those octopuss :)

Over on the The BIG Collaborative List of Suggested NS Improvements,
there is this:

where the latter link implies these somehow can be fixed individually.

Hello there, sorry for the delay in reply.

No, there is no macro for plurals, I just stick an /s/ on the end:

An @@ANIMAL@@ in the hand is worth two @@ANIMAL@@s in the bush.
