It's not without basis. The editors DO know more.

Due to operational security, staff members are required by policy to NOT respond with detailed answers to every inquiry. Does that mean the Editors and Moderators are occasionally not particularly helpful? Yes it does. That is by design, and by instruction from the site administrators. When you post incorrect information, such as making claims that you're better informed than the Editors, it's not Bad Faith to correct you.

And, as the post which isn't here anymore but which you should still be able to see in the evidence locker, who knows more is not the issue.

I said I am the biggest provider of information. I know enough to provide a large amount of detailed information, and do so on a regular basis both on my automated site and in response to player queries, whereas the editors do not do so - independently of whether that is because they cannot or because they will not. My statement was, as such, true, and attempting to deny it is bad faith.

The topic is fine-tuning old issues. Get back on it.

If you have an issue with a moderation action, the moderation forum is the place for it.

I've received issue 638 but I don't think I should be eligible for option 3 (“I can’t believe what I’m hearing!” gasps factory manager...) since my nation already allows child labor.

I see no reason for the non-breaking spaces in #1158 (helpfully left visible in my report so you can locate them).

Hmmm. I see 'em in the sourcecode, but I didn't put them there. Must be some left over from how the issue was submitted.

Seems to do no harm, so left alone.

The combined alert sound of a nation simultaneously receiving a text message is a common cause of hearing damage.

Issue #974
Option #1.

This is in the effects btw.

I think this should be fixed, as there should be a macro instead of 'a nation'

It should be: The combined alert sound of @@NAME@@ simultaneously receiving a text message is a common cause of hearing damage.

This thread is for objective errors: obvious errors with spelling or grammar, macros that appear incorrectly formatted or possibly wrong validities.

It is not for subjective changes. Amending effect lines in this manner constitutes a subjective change, and is unnecessary.

1036 contradicts itself. If your actions were so unpopular in @@NAME@@ due to cultral appreciation, then why are so many people buying the unpopular items in option 4? You could argue that it was a controversial topic in @@NAME@@ with either strong opinions on both sides, or that you had a silent majority who supported you (or atleast were neutral) Or you could argue that @@NAME@@ is full of hypocrits. In either case, the current wording makes it seem that the vast majority of @@DENONYM@@ were disgusted by @@LEADER@@, before doing the very thing they were disgusted by.

Have looked at this as well, and I see no problem there. It's clear that some of the media are criticising, while others in retail are applauding. No contradiction at all.

Also, as noted previously, this thread is not for suggestions to changes to narrative or issue presentation, but rather to identify typos, punctuation and grammar errors.

The support is appreciated, but can I ask you not to use this thread as a discussion forum for the issues in hand?

Please keep this thread for its intended purpose only - reporting punctuation, grammar and spelling errors.

To reinforce this message, I've modified the OP to put that statement of the thread's purpose in bold and in red.

Fair enough. Do issues like these warrant their own thread? I'm confused about the protocol

Issue 436 option 2:
Now, there’s no reason to get excited,” soothes Yuri Whedon, the Merni Commissioner of Elections. “We can use this in a nice, boring, I mean safe, kind of way. Why don’t we take bets on elections like bookmakers would take bets on Mernian Pharoah in the Qersi Derby? If the Election Commission runs all the action, we’ll keep out the riff-raff AND put a lit

[sorry, the last part of the option didn't get copied]

The spelling of "Pharaoh" is wrong.

Issue 1160.1 - Just reported this issue in the spoiler thread, and I noticed a minor nitpick: I'm pretty sure "cow bell" should just be one word, "cowbell".

I have reversed this change. Discussion with the team has revealed it to be a deliberate reference to the racehorse American Pharoah.
