Many issues are dotted with references to things that some people get while others don't. "Ghost Riders on the Sly", for example, is a reference to the country song "Ghost Riders in the Sky". Some got that, some didn't. Those that did got some extra ... joy, I guess, out of it.
They're like mini-easter eggs, if you will.

Thank you
Does the thread that lists all of the issues explain those things?

Well, helping to fix old issues depends on being able to notice those little "easter eggs", because neither me nor you want to waste time on "mistakes" that aren't mistakes, but rather well-hidden jokes and references.

2. "A ban on all spam is a restriction on our freedom of speech and on the freedom of the press!" screams Kayla Mombota president of Citizens for Internet Freedom. "What is the government to say what is and isn't commercial spam? Could they haul charity representatives off to jail for seeking donations? Could they jail politicians for using e-mail to try and gain votes? Could they arrest me if I accidentally send my erotic novel-in-progress to the wrong address? Seriously, spamming is a subjective offense and as such should not be considered a crime."

I believe, it should be "hatred for/towards cheese"

Of course we're not asking that
If it's a serious, or obvious, grammar error, please do let us know. If it just comes down to it's fine the way it is, but you'd prefer it another way, please don't.

It's very hard to differentiate, and I don't want to get on your nerves.
To me, a missing comma is a mistake, especially if the resulting text is then hard to read.
Dealing with English and German is very problematic... There are no rules, everyone does as they please.
I really hate it to annoy you (since that's what I'm apparently doing), therefore, maybe, it's better to not try to help at all.

Luna Amore wrote:You have a critical eye. That's a good thing. But having a new post or two every couple of days pointing out the missing commas is a bit much (to your credit, your comma corrections have been right from what I've seen). Given the admin's limited time, severe mistakes (like dropped macros and such) get precedent over minor punctuation. When it comes to "screams @@RANDOMNAME@@ president of Citizens for Internet Freedom" vs "screams @@RANDOMNAME@@, president of Citizens for Internet Freedom", 99.5% of players aren't going to notice that dropped comma. It would help if you compiled a list of mistakes you find into one post(as Ballo has done in the past), so the thread doesn't become overburdened with multiple posts of slight mistakes. That way, when an admin goes to fix them, they have a list in a single post rather than two dozen posts each separated by a debate as to whether or not it was a mistake.

2. "THEY WANT WHAT?!" screams Sgt. Burkz, while pressing back a rising vein on her neck. "This is WAR, not DAYCARE! If anything, the training standards should be tougher! If I want to whip some pasty-faced, beer-gutted greenhorn because he can't climb over a razor-wire fence then I should be be given the permission to do so right away! The cry-babies won't like it, but they can run home back to their rich daddies if that's the way they're having it. War isn't a walk in the park, and training shouldn't be either. For all our sakes."
1. "For too long, our bodies have been trapped in these prisons of cotton and polyester!" yelled protester Robin Fort, while apparently developing a nasty case of sunburn. "We must repeal the puritanical laws that make public nudity a crime. My body--my choice to dangle!"
2. "I agree," mused sociology professor Mohammed Sparkle. "But I don't think the protestors are going far enough. Public nudity shouldn't be an option: it should be compulsory. Nudity is highly liberating. And it would put that disgusting "Hooters" out of business once and for all."
3. "Whoa, whoa," says noted accountant Gertie Lopez. "Are these people serious? The last thing I want to see when I'm out for a coffee is some lumbering, over-weight nudist coming down the sidewalk toward me. If people want to get naked, they can do it in the privacy of their own homes. Think of the children!"
Schools are considering banning all signs of religious affliation to "promote unity amongst students". Minority groups and civil rights activists have expressed their outrage in protests outside the Valodor Parliament.
3. "Who needs religion anyway?" asks Evan Shiomi, Professor of Biology at Valodor University of Science. "Our nation is swamped in the mumbo-jumbo spouted by these money hungry crackpot evangelists. I say the people should be spared from these wacko delusions of gods and demons. ALL symbols of religion should be removed from ALL public spaces! Now that's what I call freedom."
The death of 108 year old Supreme Court Justice Bill Cheswick has created an opening on the bench. Below are the possible nominees.
