I'd probably hyphenate it instead (lowercase first letter is more of an iStuff trademark), "e-sports", but yeah, it's not blatantly wrong.

Using itch as a verb is relatively common where I'm from, and it rhymes.

Hmm. I've never encountered that usage of "itch" as a transitive verb. Anyway, thanks!

#1113: No Sex Please, We're @@DEMONYMADJECTIVE@@ has a misplaced macro in the last option. Here's how it showed up for me, emphasis mine. (It says 3 and 4 because of option validities. I've left the @@RANDOMNAME@@s alone.)

I see how that's happened (it's one of those issues where the coding works, but not for all nations). Taken it backstage to discuss a workaround.

Removed hyphenation, in the meantime, but those changes won't show as live for a little while.

EDIT: This issue should be fixed now.

I guess the fallout of #852,1 holds also for nations with Child Self-Rearing policy. It just adds a little more fun to it, then. Imagine all MPs literally growing up in the wilds, then having the same speach therapists to get along in society.

Hey, lots of interesting things could happen to you in the wild. If you (A) grow up in the wilderness, (B) live to tell about it, and (C) actually have enough mastery of language to tell about it, then you almost certainly will have some interesting anecdotes to tell.

Have there actually been cases of this IRL? That'd be pretty interesting

Of children raised in the wilderness, yes (among other social species, mostly) Raised among animals, then lived again among humans, yes.

But this is a report thread, not a discussion thread.

EDIT: Also, worth remembering non-human species may leave their children -- lizards, for example, abandon their eggs. Not all nations are human.

Of children growing up in the wild and later being rediscovered by humans? Definitely. Of those children still managing to belatedly learn language and explain their experiences? Tricky. Language is one of those things that seems to have trouble sticking if you don't learn it early. (The one The Free Joy State linked could talk, but he was only abandoned into the wild when he was 7, so had time to get the basics of language down first.)

All nations are assumed to have a tool-using civilization. I don't think leaving children to grow up without any kind of adult care is viable for an intelligent species that works with concepts like a "government", regardless of its evolutionary roots.

Issue No. 589 - To Boldly Go references the real world, i.e. Earth, etc.
It also slightly references Humans.
Now I'm not sure if the rule of "mentioning real world not allowed" from the World Assembly applies to Issues, but if it does, might I suggest replacing "man and woman" with stuff like "males and females" as well as "Earth" with "our home Planet".
I know it's in reference to Star Trek, which (although I'm not sure) takes place in a universe that does have Earth, I still think it should probably be more universal.

While we try to be as applicable to all systems as possible, the ruling from the World Assembly does not apply to issues and there are many references to "men", "women" and a few references to "earth" in our issue-base.

Also, please note that this thread is not for stylistic changes, which is what you're proposing. To quote the OP.

Issue 22 "Nazi Sympathizers Plan Rally"

You should add an option to unironically side with the Nazis. I have no idea why that doesn't exist yet.
The Imperium is ruled by God-Imperator Jeffrey the Conqueror of Universes, Rightful Ruler of All, and Supreme Leader for All Eternity. The God-Imperator has control over a significant portion of the multiverse. Everyone is oppressed.

Second Best Misc Storage 6 received issue 722, where option 2 states
They robbed seventeen convenience stores, shot three people, and stole clothes from my Mama’s washing line.

The nation has the nudism policy, so my assumption is that having a clothesline and washing clothes wouldn't line up with prior legislation.

However, I'm not sure if clothes are explicitly banned in the actual issues that enforce compulsory nudity, only the act of wearing them, but I might as well bring this up. It appears that either the validity for this option/issue needs fixing, or the text of "Clothing is forbidden" in the policy description for Nudism may need tweaking.

You could wear clothes in private and only always go nude in public. Though it might be scandalous to hang your fetish materials outside to dry where anyone can see them...

Hi,

I'm not entirely sure this belongs here (my apologies if it doesn't), but I recently received an issue where I could take away tax exempt status from religious groups/people even though I already voted to do so in an earlier issue.

The issue : The Apotheosis of a leader (Nr. 363)

Option nr. 4

(...) "It's the perfect opportunity to end the tax breaks for people with imaginary friends, and funnel that additional money into the areas it can do some real good, like authors of popular science books!" (...)

Issue 714.1 (Milky Ways) states
"The government should make this a reality!” exclaims superfan Miranda Hall, dressed in a replica uniform of the show’s main character, Arnie Cost. “We can hearken back to an era when folk could leave their doors unlocked, and neighbors actually talked to each other."

My nation is in top 7% for safety (top 83% for crime) in the world, which suggests my nation's crime levels are quite low, and niceness/compassion are also high.
I would have thought my people could therefore leave their doors unlocked? (so I shouldn't be getting this wording)
perhaps I'm just reading it wrong though
