Is this the right place for this?
I find it funny that you can just ignore an issue by dismissing it. A drought? That's nice. A revolution? Good for them. An assassination attempt? I'm sure it will be fine. A zombie plague? I'm just gonna sit this one out. And it actually makes the issue go away. You can essentially say that you are going to ignore an issue and it will go away. Comments?

It's handy for people who RP something where the issue simply doesn't apply to them.

Suppose your nation is under water, and your populace consists of fish. Setting rules on watering ones lawn suddenly doesn't make any sense anymore. There's space faring nations, nations in the stone age ("what are these things called 'cars' ?!?"), etc... etc... etc...
