Its not about what "better or worse" its about what you think is right. You can make choices so that your country ends up to be like a dictorship or you can make choices to where your people are democratic. ITS ALL YOUR CHOICE. :D

there's no best answer, go with what you feel is the best one for you.

This game is mostly based around the forums and roleplaying (RPing) in them.

Every option has it's pros and cons, that cannot always be foreseen. There are no really good and bad choices. If you want it you can legalize pirates, as I just found out^^ YARR!

Anyways it is mostly a question of preference and not one of rationale, as long as you don't plan on having the best economy or sth alike.

Welcome to NationStates. :)

With regard to issues, there is no right or wrong answer. If you feel the answer is the right one for you, then you select it. However, your choices can have unintended consequences. The answer at the time may seem reasonable but when it passes the results were the opposite of what you thought would happen. If you don't like any of the options, you can elect to dismiss the issue. A dismissed issue will have no affect on your nation's array of statistics.

there can be bad ones in a sense that they did thing that you didn't want. you could have tried to increase the economy and destroyed it through an issue.

There is almost always one glaring, obvious "oppress your citizens!" option, but the rest are completely up to you.
