Choosing issue #492 option #1 gave me the banner "Seat of Power: develop a large, tasteful government" which is weird because my government isn't that large. https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=88&start=25#492

I got issue #914 when my religiousness was at 654.03 and at it's highest ever which is weird because the issue's starting paragraph is "Religious attendance has hit rock bottom and many formerly thriving houses of faith are now abandoned. City planners have called a meeting to discuss the topic and, to their surprise, more people came to the meeting than to all religious services in the last year combined." https://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=88&start=25#914

The Pen is Mightier Grammer/spelling mistake

Postby Floofith » Mon Sep 28, 2026 10:48 am

"The Pen is Mightier" Postcard contains a spelling/gammer mistake that I thought was kinda weird. I've reread it several times and it doesn't make any sense. The postcard description says
"Develop A Literary Yet It Illiterate Populace"
I don't really have much to say beside this. Sorry for posting this in the Technical section of the forums.

Here, capitalization matters. The correct quote has "IT" capitalized - which hardly shows up in the all-caps font style. It seems your populace is well-educated in literature but rather unfamiliar with anything digital, i.e., IT.

To fix it, maybe the css entry could be changed from
text-transform: uppercase;
to
font-variant-caps: small-caps;
-- but that's up to the tech team.

Issue 296 option 1. The comma after ‘resident’ should be a period.

In the Downloadable Discourse issue (#1630), the third option should have a comma, rather than a period, at the end of the first stretch of dialogue:

“Look, we’re just trying to meet the sky-high demands of the market without overworking our employees.” explains Greedy Games ...

Issue 1781 option 4 says "After all, no one knows better about the lives of those pastoral New @@ANIMAL@@ers than people like I." I think it should be me not I.
There are 35 classifications. The 3x3x3 + 7 from democracies being autocracies + Mother Knows Best State.

Perhaps a stylistic choice: the double dash in #1513 option 3's effect should be replaced by a proper em dash (—), like it's done in #1601's or #1188's effect lines.

Issue 582 should perhaps have a modified text for when automobiles are banned.

'Following the release of hit mobile game Maxémon Woah, which requires players to walk around in order to find mythical creatures, many of Kombinita Socialisma Demokratio’s pedestrians have been hit by unseen vehicles in an effort to snatch ‘em all.'

While collisions by non-automobile vehicles remain a risk, they are not nearly the same, due to the differences in typical momentum and typical safeguards/skills with operation. At least a rephrasng to clarify the vehicle type could be useful.
Pro: Border abolition, demilitarization, 'radical' climate action, internationalism, gun control, socialism, decentralization, direct democracy, feminism, unity, peace, pacifism, veganism, egalitarianism, degrowth, and lbgt+
Anti: Capitalism, war, military, violence, hate, ignorance, weapons, racism, imperialism, patriotism, nationalism, fascism, nativism, violent protest, the capitalist cold, USA, state religion, borders, sexism, petro-murders, and gender roles

Legs: 'hairy'

It could be any vehicle and the issue still holds, we're not changing it

Everything else to this point should be done
