Communists!

I have noticed that when creating a nation, it asks you what your national currency is. As I understand it, communists don't believe in currency. So my question to my communist brothers and sisters is - what on earth do you put in that field? :)

My nation's not communist, but I've noticed several communist nations use bullets as currency.

Currency as it exists now certainly isn’t necessary. At most what you might need is some sort of accounting method (for example, labour time certificates, or energy accounting, or whatever) as a means of keeping track of consumption in an economy. And even then, it isn’t necessary if there were abundance of a certain good or service.

Moreover, even under scarcity, you could have a gift economy, which doesn’t have any sort of currency or accounting method for keeping track of consumption.
Boredom is counter-revolutionary.

Well, you see, technically we aren't communist, but technically we are.

In terms of the ideology, we're at a preparation stage for society to throw away private property and adopt a communal society; which can't be acheived until global revolution occurs.

So, until that glorious day just put down what every good communist and socialist would--the rouble.

In any workable version of Communism, there would probably have to be a currency.
