First Update/Formal Declaration of Neutrality:
Qwendra has had an interesting history when it comes to foreign affairs, most of our first moves made the region appear extremely noobish, and we spent the next few months trying to untangle ourselves from someone's massive puppetfest. As a region we've gone into several periods of inactivity and isolation, when our only contact with the rest of the world were by rushed comments in the WASC, and I imagine most people still consider us to just be another "wanna be raider region". All the views expressed there were the views of myself, not the region, and I recall abusing my power on more than one occasion to issue declarations of war or some kind of policy statement, such as during the whole Haven mess. I apologize to my region and the world for my actions then, I was a much angrier person then, I took a lot of that anger out on this game.
Yes, Qwendra has raided, we were members of the Dominion for a time, and later we Joined the Union, but the majority of out membership was neutral, and several of those who did raid have left the region. I'd like to say we maintain a military to carry out the original objective of protecting friends and attacking enemies, but I don't really see Qwendra maintaining a military, we have shifted our focus to role play. I myself stopped raiding some time ago, though I never did much in the first place.
This is not really a new decision, but as we don;t often communicate with the interregional community it seemed wise to update people on our situation. Who knows where the region, or I will be in a few months when it comes to raiding/defending, but for the time being we are neutral, unless there is a push in one way or another we will stay that way.
