Imploded economy

Okay, so I've had an Imploded economy for some time, and I've been trying to fix it. I've voted every way on every single issue and can't seem to get my economy anywhere else. Am I imploded for good, or am I just not choosing things in the right order? What do I need to be choosing to get it up?

Exactly. It's not just lowering taxes that makes your economy better, because sometimes that doesn't actually help at all. You have to approach each issue on the gameplay side and ask yourself, sort of, which side of the equation will help business do business.

If it makes things easier for business (and, yes, lowering corporate taxes is one thing, but also relaxing corporate and/or labour regulations, environmental laws, hiring/firing policies, debt relief, incentives and tax credits for small business, reducing start-up paperwork and bureaucracy for new businesses, etc.), then generally, your numbers will improve.

I remember it took Lamoni almost 2-3 years OOC to see any change in his numbers; he was stuck below $100 GDP/C for ages, even though he was definitely doing everything right, and then he finally saw improvements.

The older your nation is the more difficult it may be to make it shift around. Keep trying.
