Hi guys. I would appreciate if someone would point me to specific post numbers or specific threads where it discusses what else is there to do in this NationStates.
My nation says it has 268 million people, and I am still a minnow in influence? How can I change that?
How do I develop a capital city?
How do I do anything besides vote on the issues?

Here for the capital and leader and religion and such.
Your influence is Minnow because you're either not large enough to have it raised, OR, you haven't been there long enough.

Game-side, all you do is vote on issues. However, on these forums, you can roleplay, etc etc.

right... yeah, so you are in lazuras.... i would suggest transferring to a less powerful region, and try working on regional politics.. perhaps become delegate of this smaller region... (ideally between 20-45 nations)

Not true. There's a wealth of things to do within NationStates the game, but most of them rely on you joining the right region. If you want to get involved in gameplay, you'll want to find an active region that devotes itself to gameplay. There's a helpful list of some of them here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=91780

The two important things to take from that are that influence grows the longer you remain within a region, and that joining the World Assembly & being endorsed by other WA nations gains you influence faster.
