The Pacific deserves a new Delegate.

Postby The CWS Recruiter » Tue Jul 13, 2010 8:01 am

Krulltopia.

He's been delegate since May 16th, 2009.
-
Today is July 13th, 2010. (A total of 423 Days. Since his Election)

'Cruel'topia has secretly banned advertising for player created regions although he is a delegate of a feeder region.
-
Although Moderators have openly stated to 'Cruel'topia that he cannot do this as he is a feeder region delegate, and it will lower activity in play created regions, and the probability rate of new nations staying.

All other feeder region heads have shifted their power

1. Wrong forum.
2. You have logic failures.

It's a secret, now?

Correction, they said he COULD TRY to do it, but they would not punish violators unless they violate existing rules.

What does time spent as delegate have to do with anything?

I've been arguing with these people on the Pacific Resistance RMB. Their logic is completely flawed and they just keep making ad hominem attacks and repeating themselves.

Also, move requested.

I think it is a bit unfair to highlight my time a delegate as some sort of benchmark for how long delegate's have been in power. The delegate before me was delegate for over 1000 days, and in terms of feeder delegates, I would say my term is just getting out of infancy.

On top of that, time as delegate has nothing to do with how well things are run and policy.

If you don't like Krulltopia, get a group of people together and kick him out. Good luck, though. Apparently he has a few cronies out there with just as much influence as him.

Indeed, you wouldn't have seen anyone else in six years, since I've been there for seven. So as you can imagine, I'm a little amused at the depiction of me as the harbinger of regime change. ;)

Time is irrelevant. It's what you do during that time that really counts. Some have made the most of it, others have not.

Krulltopia is within his rights and may ban whomever he cares to from the region.
Players are within their rights to try to elect another delegate or leave.

Y'know what user-created regions are for, right? So you can get out of the feeders and join with like-minded people to form a community that matches your preferences. Or, like other people said, you could work for a new delegate. Of course, an invasion/defense conflict could be interesting. Anyone else remember the battles over The North Pacific? That would probably be taking things way too far, though. In war, everybody loses, even when here in NS we have no real casualties.

"Why is self-control, autonomy, such a threat to authority? Because the person who controls himself, who is his own master, has no need for an authority to be his master. But that is a fatuous answer, for those who are satisfied to mind their own business do not aspire to become authorities." ~ Thomas Szasz

I believe we do deserve a new delegate, and hence I would like to ask Krulltopia publicly to change his name to Crueltopia! That way we get a "new" delegate.

Get real. Krulltopia has served The Pacific as our Delegate with distinction for some time now. Krulltopia is free to ban those recruiters, a method which has been discussed with and approved by the citizens of the Pacific. He is well within his rights to enforce those restrictions; in fact, it is his duty to carry out the will of the people who have chosen him as Delegate. Frankly, this is a matter for the nations of the Pacific alone to decide. If we want a new Delegate, we will choose one of our own will, not because some Userite regions are getting pissy because we don't want their adspam cluttering up our RMB.

It should be noted that the Dominion of Rothinzil finds it hilarious that a recruiter nation, not a full-time resident of the Pacific, is the one asking for a new delegate.

I am so hurt. Anyone but Moo-cows and Krulltopia? :(

Just like Ivan, who ejected over 2000 people from The Pacific, Krulltopia has the right to do whatever he and his government chooses as long as no game rules are broken. You recruiters often make it impossible for the residents of The Pacific and other feeders to actually have a conversation on the RMB and you don't give a damn. Well, he and his government don't give a damn whether you are able to recruit on our RMB. Nor do I. Oh wait....I am a member of his government. :D

So, by this logic, Pierconium aka Ivan Moldavi is 'allowed'? I'll be sure to tell him that. And Rothinzil too, how wonderful. As you can probably guess, she'd make a wonderfully democratic delegate.

Make me delegate of TP! I've wanted it forever. I used to try, like... weekly or something, to tip the cow. ;)
