First of all, members of The West Pacific and The North Pacific both apparently staged a coordinated retreat from the 2023 Gameplay Awards, with [several folks] redacting their ballots...
One theory is that this is has something to do with the Modern Gameplay Compact's sanctions, and that participating in an event where members of The Brotherhood of Malice and/or The Communist Bloc are platformed would be a no-no...

So they carbon-copied votes to put up their own contenders and try to take the awards from people they don't like and when their vote stacking failed they got pouty? I'm shocked, shocked! I thought the sanctions were supposed to hurt TCB and BoM, not the other way around.

The GP Awards has always been a farce anyway. I'm only surprised no one's tried to do a public boycott earlier.
