Unfortunately, we are also not eager to establish embassies with a region that can’t spell ‘Guild’ correctly.

Adding onto that unnecessary remark, Kartakis is only the successor state of Layem in spirit. As many of you mentioned. The majority of the community only had a problem with our founder. Kartakis has an entirely new government system, administration, and the Discord server is now open to anyone who wishes to enter. There is no need to bring personal grudges into this thread.

Please help me understand the etymology of using either one of the words at the end of your obvious patriotic rant?

It should be 'go brách', which means 'forever' in Irish, and not 'go brach' nor the much more egregious, 'go brack'. We use it as Layem had an Irish theme and thus all of the patriotic mottos were in Irish. Unfortunately, nobody in our region, other than me I think, has realised that you need to use the accent in order for the word to be spelt correctly.

I was not a member of the Layemite community during the fall of Layem but it’s quite obvious that the region only fell because of Maur’s OOC antics. Are you assuming that we all mindlessly worship Maur and his beliefs?

Maur was spreading his beliefs on the forums and Layem was a Discord-oriented community. The majority of the populace had a very slim chance of stumbling upon his beliefs, let alone tolerating it.

Hi. Hope you’re enjoying your day. I believe you’re talking about what happened in the NSL server when I was there briefly. I am simply taking the stance that what happened with Maur isn’t my business. I understand that he broke the site’s rules with the recruitment and that is certainly frowned upon. I understand why everyone would be mad, but I also am committed to being my own person apart from Maur or Layem. I don’t see a reason for the raiders to be upset with me either as I used to be a Grey Warden a long time ago although I was never very prominent (I barely understood the gameplay at that time). But anyways, I have been trying to communicate with the ex-Layem members in Kartakis to try to get them to be more civil. If they don’t clean up their acts then the moderators will have to be their judge. They should be thankful that so far it’s only been me that has been judging them and I started with banning Hualonia from the region although I do still have him helping around organizing the discord. With all of that said, I’m gonna hop out of the forums. I never have spent much time on here and I am happy to let Astriya handle it as the people voted for them to be their manager of internal affairs which to me includes this forum topic. I hope the discussion stays civil on here. PEACE OUT

Anyways, Kartakis has a new nation roleplay!

With a war system based on popular turn-based strategy game World Conqueror 4, the RP has been rebooted with a map inspired by Siberia. The roleplay is slow-paced and fitted with WW2-era technology. Anyone is welcome to join as a spectator, though you must be a citizen or VISA citizen of Kartakis to take part in the roleplay. The constitution of Kartakis is currently being rewritten from the original Articles of the Confederacy, so expect VISA applications to open soon. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the feedback. Hualonia made that map as a draft and he’s currently adding nations, terrain markers, and more. The roleplay hasn’t officially started yet so there’s still room for improvement.

I don’t know why you’re so obsessed with a DOSed person, but Maur no longer has any say over regional matters. You’re making a big deal out of ancient history.
