Unusually Long Nation Titles?

I'm thoroughly confused as to how some nations have massively long nation titles, such as Katganistan, but I'm limited to 21-24 characters I believe. Is this just an antiquity thing or are character restrictions void for moderators?
Almost 7 billion population and still a failed State. Everything has been 'coming soon' for decades now

It's a moderator thing actually; I believe moderators are allowed to have much longer pretitles than is the limit for the rest of us.

This is correct.

Amusingly, way back in the day before unlockable custom pretitles were a thing, the perk was just getting a pretitle that wasn't in the dropdown list.
